Robotics Club
The Robotics Team will have their first meeting after school tomorrow, August 28 from 3:00 until 4:30. This club is open to students in grades 7 through 12. If you want more information about this opportunity for your child please contact Andrea Henke at ahenke@gogremlins.com.
Bus Drivers Needed
The school is in serious need of individuals who are able and willing to drive the school busses. We need drivers for athletic events, field trips and substitutes for the Warrensburg route. This is primarily a volunteer position but there are some paid opportunities as well.
If you think this is an area that you might enjoy contributing to please contact our Athletic Director, Mr. David Fall. He can get you all the information you need about getting licensed and ready to drive.

Running Resolutions Cross Country Meet
On October 5th Running Resolutions will be hosting a cross country meet for youth ages 6-14. Local athletes are encouraged to come out and participate if they have any interest in running. This program is coached and sponsored by SH parent Dan Bridges.
It is his hope to use this meet to grow the program in the years to come. Area coaches and athletes could also use the program to help develop skills and future athletes! The cost for entry is only $5 for non-members and $3 for athletes on the Running Resolutions team.

Sunday, September 22 – The Bishop will be here to help us celebrate the inauguration of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish serving Pettis County Catholics. Mass is at 10:30 at the Heckart Performing Arts Center on the campus of Smith-Cotton High School.
Monday, September 30 – 9th annual SHS Golf Tournament and family fun day – Sedalia Country Club
Saturday, October 5 – 2019 Dinner Auction, an evening of fundraising and fun!

Club de Robótica
El equipo de robótica tendrá su primera reunión mañana 28 de agosto después de clases de 3:00 a 4:30. Este club es para estudiantes de grados 7o a 12o. Si desea más información sobre esta oportunidad para su hijo por favor contacte a Andrea Henke a ahenke@gogremlins.com.
Se Necesitan Conductores de Autobús
La escuela se encuentra en verdadera necesidad de individuos que puedan y quieran conducir los autobuses escolares. Necesitamos conductores para eventos deportivos, paseos escolares y sustitutos para la ruta que va a Warrensburg. Esta es principalmente una posición voluntaria, pero también hay algunas oportunidades pagadas.
Si considera que esta es una área que en la que pudiera disfrutar contribuyendo por favor contacte a nuestro Director de Deportes, el Sr. David Fall. El puede proporcionarle la información que necesita para obtener su licencia y estar listo para conducir.

Competencia de Carreras de Running Resolutions
El 5 de octubre Running Resolutions será el anfitrión de una competencia para niños en edades de 6-14. Se invita a atletas locales a venir y participar si tienen interés en correr. El entrenador y organizador de este programa es un padre del SH, el Sr. Dan Bridges.
Es su esperanza utilizar esta competencia para hacer crecer el programa en los próximos años. ¡Los entrenadores y atletas del área pueden utilizar este programa para ayudar a desarrollar las habilidades y atletas futuros! El costo para entrar es de solo $5 para los que no son miembros y de $3 para atletas del equipo de Running Resolutions.

Lunes 30 de septiembre – 9o Torneo Anual de Golf del SHS y día de diversión familiar – Country Club de Sedalia
Sábado 5 de octubre – ¡Cena de la Subasta 2019, noche de recaudación de fondos y diversión!
