Introducing the Sacred Heart Class of 2019.

How much does each of us really know about our next graduating class?

Let’s find out together.

Did you know that the Senior Class of 2019 is the first Sacred Heart class that has had a student awarded an eSports scholarship for college?

Congrats to Andy Bautista for setting another first for Sacred Heart.

Did you know that three Seniors have already been awarded college athletic scholarships?

Congrats to Zoe Volcko, Madison McClain, and Francisco Rojas.

The Seniors were then asked the toughest question of their high school career at Sacred Heart.

Which teacher’s class did you enjoy more Ms. McMullin’s or Mr. Bahner’s?

This was a rare instance when the Seniors had “no comment” as a class but did go on to say that, “It is impossible to choose a favorite teacher at Sacred Heart; they are all truly the best of the best.”

To truly gain a better understanding of the Senior Class, it is imperative to know the answers to this question.

Who is the smartest of them all?

Once again the class unanimously agreed that the three B’s, Bryan Schlotterbeck, Brian Sierra, and Brian Oster, were in a tight race with Class President Alysia Marquez.

Wanting to give the Seniors a break from the tough questions the focus changed to classroom behaviors.

Who is most likely to fall asleep in class?

It was no surprise and no contest. The Senior Class voted unanimously that Andy Bautista has attempted to sleep in every class that he has ever taken, even going as far as to ask teachers for permission. Again, it is not a surprise to learn that no teacher has ever said yes.

Andy’s classmates were quick to defend him commenting that, “Andy’s lack of sleep is due to staying up all night gaming, which did land him a scholarship to Central Methodist University”.

Most Memorable Moment at Sacred Heart as a class?

Zoe Volcko broke the clock in Mrs. Bolin’s class. No one would say exactly how this happened.

Will the Class of 2019 be getting together after graduation?

Over half of the class plans to come to class reunions or keep up with their friends from Sacred Heart. Thankfully, they all plan to return every year to help us celebrate homecoming.

What changes you would like to see made at our school?

There were a few suggestions on how to continue to improve the school lunches and their appreciation for the school uniforms enforced by the dress code and fines.

What advice would you give younger students?

“Try your best, and it will all work out,” words of wisdom shared by the Senior Class of 2019.”

Sacred Heart will dearly miss the graduating class of 2019. These 19 students have filled the hallways with laughter, inspired others to lead, and ruined the curve on all future tests. They have also shown us that no matter how diverse and unique they each may be individually, they are united by friendship and memories.

Good Luck, Gremlins!
