Here’s another historic “first” for SHS! We are thrilled to announce that Sacred Heart senior Andy Bautista has accepted an eSports scholarship to play “Overwatch” at Central Methodist University, the first scholarship of its kind for the Gremlins.

“Overwatch” is a team-based first-person shooter video game. The CMU gaming scholarship currently amounts to $17,000, but Andy is also a candidate to receive full tuition aid via valedictorian scholarship.

Andy plays the flute for the SHS band, is a member of the National Honor Society and has been on the A Honor Roll his entire high school career. Last spring, Andy represented the Gremlins in tennis, winning District singles.
