St. Vincent de Paul Multicultural Festival, You Don’t Want to Miss It

We are 4 weeks away from the first St. Vincent de Paul Multicultural Festival, an event celebrating the many cultures that make-up our parish! This day promises to be filled with fun, joy, new experiences, and most importantly … FELLOWSHIP! This is not your traditional parish picnic. This is a festival for the entire community to enjoy! We will have games for every age range, kid’s activities (including a bounce house, face painting and more), booths with food and beverages from different cultures around the world for people to purchase, live music, and much more.

How can YOU help make this event a success?
Volunteer to help! We will need lots of hands to help with everything from set-up to selling food tickets to face painting to running supplies to kid’s games and more. Scan the QR code or call the rectory to sign-up to volunteer.

Make and donate food and beverages that represent your cultural heritage!
We want to have a wide variety of food from cultures around the world for patrons to buy. If you have a recipe that’s been passed down for generations, we invite you to make it and bring it so people can buy a food ticket to try it! Buy Raffle Tickets!
We have two raffles for the festival: 1) 65” Samsung Crystal UHD SmartTV AND 2) 50/50. Tickets are $20 each OR 6 tickets for $100. Purchase tickets at the parish offices (rectory or business), OR stop by our table after Masses starting the weekend of May 23/24. You don’t have to be present to win!

Help Sell Raffle Tickets!
If you are a salesman at heart, we invite you to reach out to Kevin Morales, kmorales@svdpcatholic.org or 660-827-2311, to get raffle tickets to sell to your family and friends.

Help us promote the festival!
There are several ways you can help us promote the festival: share our FB event and FB posts, pick up fliers at each chapel to pass out or hang up in your business, and invite EVERYONE you know.

Attend the Multicultural Festival!
We invite the ENTIRE PARISH and our community at large to join us on the parking lot and green area west of our parish school from 10am-3pm on Saturday, June 13. Buy food tickets ($2 each ticket) to purchase your favorite cultural food or to try something you’ve never tried before. We will have tables and chairs so you can stay and eat it there, and then buy more to take home for dinner!
