Senior Spotlight – SPENCER AESCHBACHER
Spencer is excited to announce that he will be attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City in the fall! Spencer plans to major in computer science. He hopes to establish a software development company or a game development company in the future. He is looking forward to being in Kansas City and experiencing dorm-life. He will miss his friends and his dog, Maggie, the most. Good luck to you, Spencer!

Triston is excited to attend State Fair Community College in the fall! Triston has studied automotive technology this year at the Career & Technical College at SFCC. He plans to continue to follow his passion and earn an automotive technology degree. He hopes to open his own automotive business in the future. We are proud of you, Triston!

Emily will be attending the University of Missouri-Columbia in the fall! Emily plans to major in health sciences. She would like to specialize in speech, language, and hearing to become a speech and language pathologist in an elementary school in the future. She is looking forward to attending a large university with a lot of different people, and meeting her new dorm roommate. Emily says that she will miss her sister, Sophie, the most. Connor is ready to begin his new journey at State Fair Community College in the fall! Connor is planning to major in business and to play baseball for the Roadrunners. Meaning and Importance of the Sacrament of Holy Orders
The sacrament of Holy Orders is a sacred and essential sacrament within the Catholic Church. It confers upon individuals the authority and grace to serve as ordained ministers, including bishops, priests, and deacons. This sacrament is of great importance as it ensures the continuation of the apostolic ministry established by Jesus Christ himself. The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) provides a comprehensive explanation of the meaning and significance of the sacrament of Holy Orders. In paragraph 1536, it states:
“Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to his apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time: thus it is the sacrament of apostolic ministry. It includes three degrees: episcopate, presbyterate, and diaconate.”
The sacrament of Holy Orders is crucial for the life of the Church as it ensures the continuation of the apostolic ministry, the celebration of the sacraments, and the pastoral care of the faithful. It is through Holy Orders that bishops, priests, and deacons are empowered to serve the Church and its members, guiding them in their spiritual journey and leading them closer to God.

RaiseRight Everyday – Changes to Casey’s Gift Cards!!
If you are reloading your Casey’s gift cards, please read below for changes taking effect April 22nd.
Effective April 22, you will no longer have access to add new funds to your Casey’s physical gift card. Casey’s is launching new gift cards, so reload will not be available until the new cards are introduced.
How to prepare:

Add funds to your current gift card before April 22 (maximum reload is $250). Any cards purchased and/or reloaded before April 22 will continue to work until the funds are gone.

Request a new card from RaiseRight so you’re ready when reload turns on April 29. Simply provide your mailing address via our online request form and we’ll send you a new card via U.S. Mail. Cards will be sent out starting April 26. Please Note: Cards requested from RaiseRight will not be active and will have a $0 balance. You will need to activate them via the RaiseRight mobile app to add funds.

If you choose not to request a new card, you can still purchase one from RaiseRight via our website or mobile app starting April 22 (reload will not be available on the new cards until April 29).
There is no cost to request this new card. Simply provide your mailing information and we’ll get your new card sent out as soon as possible. Request New Card
Our next in-house order for physical gift cards will be on Monday, April 29th. All orders submitted to the school office by the end of school or through the RaiseRight app by 8pm on the 29th will be included in the order. Orders should be ready for pick-up the following week.
Don’t forget we have several retailers ONLY available through the office (i.e. Casey’s, Cenex, Shell, Colton’s, Kehde’s, McD, Menards, Taco Bell, Walgreens, and VISA to name a few). Stop in at the school office on Tuesdays and Thursdays during our volunteer open hours from 9:00am – 11:00am for immediate purchases, or drop your order at the school office or email it to the program coordinator. Our volunteers will fill your order on Tuesdays and Thursdays and let you know when it’s available for pick-up. RaiseRight will not be at Masses this weekend. We will be back Sunday, April 28th. Significado e importancia del sacramento del Orden Sagrado
El sacramento del Orden Sagrado es un sacramento sagrado y esencial dentro de la Iglesia Católica. Confiere a las personas la autoridad y la gracia para servir como ministros ordenados, incluidos obispos, presbíteros y diáconos. Este sacramento es de gran importancia ya que asegura la continuación del ministerio apostólico establecido por el mismo Jesucristo. El Catecismo de la Iglesia Católica (CIC) proporciona una explicación integral del significado del sacramento del Orden Sagrado. En el párrafo 1536, señala:
