Merciful God, you called us forth from the dust of the earth; you claimed us for Christ in the waters of baptism. Look upon us as we enter these Forty Days of Lent bearing the mark of ashes, and bless the journey through the desert of Lent to the font of rebirth. We know you are a God who is rich in forgiveness and abounding in steadfast love, love that culminates in eternal life with you. Guide our steps this Lent, so that we might find greater fulfillment in your promises and better serve others with a heart that’s reflective of you. Amen.

- JH Basketball boys: Uniforms and practice jerseys will be turned in immediately after mass today in Dr. Register’s office

- Attention 6-8th grade! There is a math contest for you! Sign-ups are on Mrs. Hill’s door!
- The spring pre-sale for Gremlin Gear is now open online only. We have new designs for golf, soccer, baseball, softball, track and field shirts. Plus jackets and windbreakers are available to try on in the store. Orders are due today (Thursday, February 22)!
- Yearbooks are on sale! Get yours ordered before it is too late!
- There will be a baseball homeroom meeting tomorrow morning in the commons.
- There will be a JH track meeting during homeroom tomorrow morning in the McGremlin Gym. JH Boys only need to attend.
- Lunch Menu reminder during Lent: No meat or chicken salad will be available today and on Friday’s during Lent . Cheese, eggs, and tuna salad will be available.

Winter Sports Action:
Varsity/JV Boys Basketball (18-9, 7-3, JV 10-7) – The varsity boys take on the Tipton Cardinals tonight in the semifinals of the District Basketball Tournament in Lincoln. Tipoff is at 7:30.
Varsity/JV Girls Basketball (18-8, 7-2) – The SH varsity girls next action is tomorrow night @ 5:30 in the district tournament at Tipton. The Grems will take on the Sweet Springs Greyhounds.
