- Reminder: There will be a Jr. High Halloween Mixer on October 25, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the old gym for grades 6-8th. The entry fee is $10 and will be charged to FACTS. Tickets are being sold at lunch. If you have any questions please see Paisley Carl.
- Gremlin Gear orders are due TODAY. Just a reminder that this is our last presale for 2022!! Also make sure to scan the QR code on the flyer to see the 100+ items available.
- Attention Key Club Members and anyone attending Fear Fest: There will be a meeting in the commons during lunch TODAY to go over details. Please make your payment to secure your spot on the bus. We have reached capacity and now have a waiting list.
- Effective November 1st shorts May no longer be worn at school. Stop by the store to get long pants. Two pairs for $5.
- There will be a junior class meeting on Tuesday, October 25th during lunch in the family science room.
Sports Action:
Volleyball (29-6, 9-1) (JV 5-11-1, 4-5) Sacred Heart Varsity Volleyball team beat the New Haven Shamrocks at home on Saturday night to advance to the Sweet 16. Playing at home in the McGremlin Gym on Saturday evening was definitely an advantage for the Gremlins. A packed Gremlin crowd and a rowdy bench kept the momentum going for Sacred Heart as they won in four sets. 25-13, 20-25, 25-22, and 30-28.
Sacred Heart Varsity will have to wait until Tuesday night to see who they will play on Thursday, October 27th at 6:30 pm somewhere in Southeast Missouri. They will play the winner of the Class 1 District 6 tournament. The #1 seed in that bracket is South Iron and the #2 seed is Lesterville. The Gremlins will be on the road Thursday and it looks like it will be a fun road trip!
Soccer (15-6, 5-0) The Sacred Heart boys soccer team’s next action is tonight when they host Southern Boone High School Eagles at Clover Dell Park. Start time is 5:00 pm with JV followed by Varsity action.
HS Cross Country Sacred Heart cross country team travels to Fulton for district competition on Sat. Oct. 29th for their next action.
JH Soccer (5-8-2, 0-0)
The Gremlin JH Soccer plays Cole Camp tonight in the opening round of the Kaysinger Conference Tournament in Smithton. Game time is 6:30pm.
