Cover them with your enduring love, give them confidence and grace, and equip them with the ability to persevere through trials. Bless their teachers with wisdom, understanding, and a heart to serve, as we continue on the journey together! Amen

  • Any JH artist signed up for the art contest needs to meet with Ms. Nehring briefly during homeroom today. 
  • Any High school student interested in participating in the Kaysinger Art Show Oct 5 needs to visit Ms. Nehring during homeroom, lunch or after school by Monday, September 19th.
  • All Student Council members please plan to attend our first FALL HOMECOMING meeting today at lunch in Ms. McMullin’s room. 
  • The Youth Ministry Core Team invites you to attend our first youth event of the year for students in grades 6-12.  Please join us on Sunday, September 18th from 3-5pm in the Sacred Heart Commons for snacks and “get to know you” games. 
  • A college representative from Mizzou will be here Monday, September 19th during lunch in the commons to answer questions and hand out information.  Juniors and seniors are welcome!
  • All students interested in being on the Envirothon Team will need to come to a meeting during HOMEROOM on Tuesday, September 20th. Go to Mrs. Hagebusch’s class after attendance and lunch count.
  • The next Junior class meeting will be Thursday, September 22nd in the Life Skills Room during lunch. Please be prompt.
  • If you are a high school student looking for service hours or a paid tutoring position, please see Mrs. Tippie. 
  • 6-12th grade: When ordering a salad, please put your name and grade on the salad slip. 

 

Sports Action:

Volleyball (10-1, 3-0) The Sacred Heart Varsity beat Otterville in three sets last night: 25-10, 25-8, 25-11.  The Lady Grems travel to Camdenton tomorrow to play three Class 4 schools – Camdenton, Staley, and Willard.

 

The next HOME match is Tuesday, September 20th vs. the Lincoln Cardinals in a PINK OUT Volleyball game with JH A & JV action beginning at 5:30 pm followed by JH B & Varsity.  Show up early for a spaghetti dinner beginning at 5 PM, Wear your PINK, and help us support our #12Coen Brown and family! #GoGremlins

 

Soccer (4-6, 1-0)  The varsity soccer team traveled to Concordia Thursday winning both varsity and JV games against St. Paul Lutheran.  The varsity won by a score of 5-1 while the JV came away with a 1-0 victory.

 

The Grems host Christian Fellowship out of Columbia this evening at Clover Dell Park.  The varsity game will follow the junior high contest which begins at 5pm.

Girls Golf  The girls played yesterday in a Quadrangular match with Stover, Green Ridge and Cole Camp.  No results have been reported at this time.

HS Cross Country  The Cross Country teams next meet is tomorrow @ the Smith-Cotton Invitational.

JH Soccer (2-3-1, 0-0)

The Gremlin JH Soccer team plays Christian Fellowship tonight at Clover Dell Soccer Park.  Game time is 5pm.

 

JH Volleyball (3-1, 2-1)

The JH A and B volleyball teams played a great match against Otterville last night in the McGremlin Gym.  The game went 3 close sets with Otterville coming away with a 25-21, 25-27, 16-14 victory.  Their next action is tonight in the SH JH Tournament. The girls play at 5:30pm and 7:00pm on Friday and 9:45am on Saturday. Come and support the JH volleyball girls.
