- ALL NJHS intention paperwork is due by the end of this week. Turn the paperwork in at the office.
- Key Club meeting on Wednesday, April 27 during homeroom.
- This year’s Envirothon team needs to meet to take pictures in Mrs. Hagebusch’s room during Homeroom on Friday, April 29th.
- Attention ALL boys in grades 4 thru 7 interested in summer basketball. There will be a meeting in the main gym on Friday, April 29 during homeroom at 9:10am.
- NHS Members: 25 service hours for the year are due by May 3rd. Note this is a date change. There will also be an NHS meeting May 3rd at 7:10am. Bring your service hour sheet filled out with signatures to the meeting.
- There will be a meeting for anyone interested in girls golf and/or girls swim for next year during homeroom on Wednesday, May 4th in the commons.
- Need service hours and want to be entertained? Liberty Center is looking for ushers for Legally Blond the next 2 weekends. The sign-up sheet is outside Dr. Register’s office. See Miss Turner with any questions.
- The Gremlin Student Store and Cafe is open every day after school this week. Come say hi to Alex Karigan and Emily McDonald today! To celebrate spring all candy bars and sweets are on sale for $1.25 while supplies last! We also are fully stocked with lunchables, Gatorade, sweet tea, and Snapples.
Recent Sports Results:
Boys Baseball: (7-3) The Varsity Baseball team plays for 3rd place in the Kaysinger Conference Tournament vs the Tipton Cardinals today at Liberty Park stadium. Game time is 4pm.
Girls Softball: (7-6, 5-1) The girls softball team’s next game is Thursday at home vs Bunceton, start time 5:00 pm.
Girls Soccer: (0-3) The Sacred Heart Girls Soccer Team’s next game is Tuesday May 3rd @ home vs Stover. Kickoff is at 5pm.
Boys Golf: The SH Varsity boys played yesterday at SCC vs. Cole Camp & Lincoln.
High School Track: The Sacred Heart high school track and field team participated in the Smith-Cotton Tiger Invitational yesterday at the stadium. Top finishers included:
- Senior Bruno Saucedo won the 100 m dash (10.99) and placed 3rd in the 200 m dash setting a personal record of 22.27 seconds.
- Junior Kate Carney placed 1st in shot put (10.24m) and 2nd in discus 24.51m.
- Sophomore Jackson Manning placed 4th in the 400 m dash (56.03).
- Junior Mariana Restrepo placed 4th in the long jump (4.8m).
The Gremlins compete in the Kaysinger Conference track and field meet today in Smithton.
Junior High Track: Sacred Heart’s junior high track and field team’s next action is today at the JH Conference Track Meet in Smithton, start time 1 – EARLY DISMISSAL 11:45, bus leaves at noon
