SACRED HEART SCHOOL

Extraordinary Catholic Education. Through Christ. For ALL!

  • This is the Feast day of St. John Nuemann.  Saint Andre Bessette

  • Morning Prayer – – – Let us Pray.

Merciful Jesus,

We pray today for good health.  We know that no disease can resist your all-healing power; if you command, all maladies must obey. Say then to our souls, as you did to the leper, “Be made clean.” That word will restore us to health; for as your word alone created us, so your word can again repair us.

But also, in your mercy root out self-love from our souls, it being the cause of our evils. We know you are more anxious to grant our petitions, than we are to obtain them. Do what you so much desire. Grant us, dear Jesus, your love, a healthy body and spirit, and a true zeal for your glory. Amen.
