Heavenly Father, thank you for hearing and answering our prayers. Your word instructs us to start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. In our roles as teacher and students, please help me to work hard for the good of one another, treating each person with care, love and respect. Lord, bless us and keep us, make your face shine upon us. Turn your face towards us and give us peace. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Announcements:

  • Need Service Hours? Parks and Rec has two upcoming events that need volunteers. If you would like to help please let Mrs. Howell know by Thursday morning.
    •  December 10th Pizza and PJs with Santa 5:30pm-8pm at Convention Hall (15 volunteers)
    • December 11th Jingle Bell 5k 7am-10:30am at Liberty Park (20 volunteers)
  • All students in grades 6-12, we are looking for volunteers to help with face painting at the basketball games on December 16. Please let Mrs. Howell know if you would like to help!
  • Cafe is open every day this week after school. Christmas specials: Edible Cookie Dough and Lunchables for only $2.25 Coffee and Hot Chocolate are only $1.25. Save 25 cents off on each item while supplies last. Come say hi to Ian and Eli!
  • Time to start Christmas shopping. We have two styles of Christmas ornaments, scarves, bucket hats, mugs, and so much more at the Gremlin Student Store. Stop by after school.

  • Congratulations to the Math Team for a strong performance in California this past Saturday.  Each competitor brought home at least 1 ribbon or medal!

Recent Sports Results:

High School Boys Basketball: (Var 6-0, JV 0-3)  The boys beat the Northwest Mustangs by a score of 47-35 on Friday night to bring home the championship trophy from the Kingsville tournament. The Grems are in the Pilot Grove tournament this week.  The guys take on the Tuscumbia Lions tonight in an opening round game. Tip off is at __ PM.

High School Girls Basketball: (Var 4-1)  The girls also beat the Northwest Mustangs on Friday night to bring home the championship trophy from the Kingsville tournament. Their score was 45-30. The Grems are in the Pilot Grove tournament this week.  The girls took on the Pilot Grove Tigers last night in an opening round game.

Junior High Boys Basketball: (‘A’ 0-0, ‘B’ 0-0)  The Junior High Grems open their season on the road on Thursday, December 9th at Russellville.  The girls tip off at 5pm followed by Boys ‘A’ and Boys ‘B’ action.
