SACRED HEART SCHOOL

Extraordinary Catholic Education. Through Christ. For ALL!

  • This is the Feast day of St Cecilia.  St Cecilia is the patron saint of Musicians.
  • Morning Prayer – – –

Dear St Cecilia, you were a heroic martyr who stayed faithful to Jesus always, please intercede for us for faith to rise above our fears and our challenges and to see in them only opportunities to be faithful to the image of our Lord.

We know that you were a musician and we are told that you heard angels sing. Inspire the musicians here at our school to gladden the hearts of people by filling the air with God’s gift of music and reminding them of the Divine Musician who created all beauty. Amen.
