Announcements:
- The First Quarter ends on Thursday, October 21. FINISH STRONG!

- The cafe is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning before school. We have muffins, pastries, hot chocolate, and cheese/crackers. Wednesdays (Tomorrow) we will also be serving Papa Jakes donut holes. Come on by and say to Mariah and Jackson.
- On Monday, October 11th Jostens will be back to take ring orders. Again at 7:30 AM.
- STUCO MEETING: Before school at 7am in the McGremlin Gym on Tuesday, October 12. Ms. McMullin will be at the west parking lot doors from 6:55-7am. Don’t be late!
- STUCO shirt order forms are due on Tuesday, October 12!
- ENVIROTHON MEETING: During homeroom on Tuesday, October 12. The meeting will be in Mrs. Hagebusch’s room.
- Students in grades 6-8 are invited to join our Bellarmine Speech Team. Team info and sign ups are located on the bulletin board outside of Dr. Register’s office. For more info you can contact coach Mrs. Van Leer.
- SERVICE HOURS opportunity: 15 volunteers needed for Boo Bash on October 22nd from 5:30-8pm. Volunteers will be in charge of manning the games during that time. Notify Mrs. Howell if you want to help out!

Recent Sports Results:
SOCCER: (11-6-1, 2-0) The varsity soccer team came in 2nd in the conference tournament on Friday night losing a very wel;l played match 2-1 to the Smithton Tigers. Their next action is Tuesday in Cole Camp. JH kicks off at 5pm followed by varsity action.
VOLLEYBALL: (16-7-1, 6-1) (JV 8-3, 5-1) The Varsity Volleyball also took 2nd in the Kaysinger conference tournament on Saturday. The Grems beat Cole Camp in the semi-finals then lost an absolute thriller to Stover in 3 sets 27-25, 22-25, 24-26. The varsity, JV and JH also play in Cole Camp on Tuesday. JH and JV begin at 5:30.
Congratulations to Smithton and Stover and congratulations to our Gremlins. You represented us well over the weekend and we are proud of you!
FOOTBALL: (4-3) The football team beat the Santa FE Chiefs in NW Homecoming action on Friday night by a score of 64-16. This Friday night the team travels to Norborne/Hardin for a 7pm kickoff.
GIRLS GOLF: Good luck to senior Claire Smeltzer who is representing the Grems in District golf action today in Excelsior Springs MO.
CROSS COUNTRY: Cross Country team’s next meets are on Wed. 10/13 in the Kaysinger Conference meet @ Stover (start time 4:00) and Thursday, 10/14 in Warrensburg (start time TBD).
JH SOCCER: (5-3-1, 1-0) The JH Soccer team plays in Cole Camp ono Tuesday. Kickoff is at 5pm.
JH VOLLEYBALL: (1-9-1, 1-5) The JH Volleyball team’s next action is Tuesday, Oct. 12 in Cole Camp. First serve is at 5:30pm.
JH FOOTBALL: (0-3) The JH Football team’s next game is today in Concordia beginning at 5:30pm.
