Announcements:
- This is Standardized Testing Week for students in grades 3 – 9. Let’s keep a good, quiet testing atmosphere in the hallways while tests are underway. Students, this is important and all we ask is that you do your very best!
- The cafe is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning before school. We have muffins, pastries, hot chocolate, and cheese/crackers. Wednesdays (Tomorrow) we will also be serving Papa Jakes donut holes. Come on by and say to Mariah and Jackson.
- On Monday, October 11th Jostens will be back to take ring orders. Again at 7:30 AM.
- STUCO MEETING: Before school at 7am in the McGremlin Gym on Tuesday, October 12. Mrs. Blackburn will be at the west parking lot doors from 6:55-7am. Don’t be late!
- ENVIROTHON MEETING: During homeroom on Tuesday, October 12. The meeting will be in Mrs. Hagebusch’s room.
- Students in grades 6-8 are invited to join our Bellarmine Speech Team. Team info and sign ups are located on the bulletin board outside of Dr. Register’s office. For more info you can contact coach Mrs. Van Leer.
Recent Sports Results:
SOCCER: (10-5-1, 2-0) The varsity soccer team got rained out last night. They play Cole Camp in the conference tournament tonight. Kickoff is at 7pm.
VOLLEYBALL: (12-6-1, 6-1) (JV 8-3, 5-1) The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams were both victorious in conference play last night taking on the Smithton Tigers. The JV won 15-25, 25-20, 15-9 and the varsity won in three sets 25-21, 25-15, 25-18. Their next action is tonight as they play in the pool play round of the Kaysinger Conference Tournament. The Grems take on Smithton at 4pm, Green Ridge at 7 and LaMonte at 8. The tournament continues on Saturday with trophy round competition taking place.
FOOTBALL: (3-3) The football team’s next action is this Friday night in NW Homecoming action as the team takes on Santa Fe in a 7pm kickoff.
GIRLS GOLF: The girls play this afternoon at home vs Butler, Cole Camp and Green Ridge. Tee time is 4pm.
CROSS COUNTRY: Cross Country team’s next meets are on Wed. 10/13 in the Kaysinger Conference meet @ Stover (start time 4:00) and Thursday, 10/14 in Warrensburg (start time TBD).
JH SOCCER: (4-3, 1-0) The JH Soccer team played Buecker Middle School in Marshall last night. Their next game is tonight @ home vs Christian Fellowship, start time 5:00 PM.
JH VOLLEYBALL: (1-9-1, 1-5) The JH Volleyball team lost in Smithton last night 12-25, 11-25. The team’s next action is Tuesday, Oct. 12 in Cole Camp. First serve is at 5:30pm.
JH FOOTBALL: (0-3) The JH Football team’s next game is on Monday the 11th vs Concordia beginning at 5:30pm.
