Announcements:

  • Any high school student grades 9-12 that has not been confirmed and wants to be please see Mrs. Bolin ASAP.  Thanks.
  • We are excited to announce that the Gremlin Student Store and Cafe will be open every day after school. We have fully stocked the cafe with all of your favorites and lots of chocolate treats and muffins. We even have spoons! Come say hi to Ian and Coen.
  • Next week the Gremlin Student Store and Cafe will be open before school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:30-7:45am. Stop by and see us for some coffee, hot chocolate, and muffins!
  • STUCO Activity Group for the Gently Used Store is Arly, Kiley, Eli, Mariah Van Leer, Oz, and Charlotte Carroll you are meeting TODAY (Tuesday, September 7) during homeroom. Please check-in with your homeroom teacher then come to the store. 
  • There will be a Junior Class Mtg Wednesday, September 8 during homeroom in Mrs McDonalds room. Please remember to check in for attendance for going to the meeting.
  • STUCO officer lunch meeting tomorrow in Ms. McMullin’s room. 
  • There will be a meeting for those interested in Speech and Debate in room 222 during Homeroom on Friday, September 10. Please see Miss Turner with any questions. 
  • Fall Homecoming is Friday, September 24. Grades 9-12 will be competing for 20% of the spirit stick and the crown with a banner competition this year. Grades K-8 will judge the banners. 
  • High School Students:  Please do not leave things stacked on top of your lockers at the end of the day.  Make sure your things are neatly stored away inside your lock at the end of each school day.  It makes you more organized and keeps the school looking cleaner.
  • Yearbooks are now on sale! Students in grades 7-12 get yours ordered by September 24 to get the best deal of the year! We also have copies from the last five years for sale. See Mrs. Howell for more information.

 

Recent Sports Results:

SOCCER:  (3-0-1, 0-0)The varsity soccer team was rained out in the Barstow tournament title game on Saturday.  Their next action is tonight vs Fr. Tolton High School at Clover Dell Park.  Game time is 5pm. 

 

VOLLEYBALL:  (2-0, 0-0) The Grems next action is tonight at home when the JV Grems take on Bunceton in a 6pm start.

 

FOOTBALL:  (1-1) The boys lost a tough one to North Shelby High School on Friday night by a score of 44-26.  Their next action is this coming Friday in the home opener vs the St. Paul Saints out of Concordia. Kickoff is at 7pm in Hughesville.

 

GIRLS GOLF: The girls take on California and Boonville High Schools in Boonville this afternoon.  Tee time is 4pm. 

 

CROSS COUNTRY: Cross Country’s next meet is Saturday, September 18 in Clinton.

 

JH SOCCER: The JH Soccer season opens on September 10th at the Sacred Heart Junior High Tournament.

 

JH VOLLEYBALL: The JH Volleyball season opens on September 14 with a conference game at Otterville.  Game time is 5pm.

 

JH FOOTBALL: The JH Football season opens on Monday, September 13 vs the Sweet Springs Greyhounds.  The game begins at 5:30pm in Hughesville.
