Announcements:

 

• Special congratulations to all those who received the Sacrament of Confirmation yesterday.  It was a lovely service and it is always noise to have the Bishop in our parish and on our campus.
• The Gremlin Student Cafe is open today for your AFTER SCHOOL SNACK! We need to clear out the shelves. Once it is all gone we will be closed for the rest of the school year. Don’t miss out! We now have Sacred Heart bucket hats for sale. Come say hi to Allie Finney and Jordan Hill. 
• Today at 2:45 there will be a meeting in the commons for all JH and HS students interested in being part of the Sacred Heart cheer team. 
• All girls planning to participate in fall cheer with Northwest need to turn in their paperwork today to Mrs. Blackburn. 
• Faculty: there will be a short faculty meeting today at 3:20 in the Music Room
• There will be a short meeting for all students grades 8 – 11 interested in varsity soccer for next fall coming up next Wednesday at 2:50 in the Commons.  This will be your opportunity to meet the new coach. 
• Freshman Class meeting to elect officers for next year will be on Wednesday.. Meet in the Art room during lunch. Please remember you will be doing a short speech. 

 

Sports Action:

High School Boys Baseball: (8-9) District play is scheduled to open today in Pilot Grove.  

 

High School Boys Golf: Senior Jeff Hollabaugh and freshman Luke Jenkins are competing in the state golf tournament in Nixa MO today and tomorrow.

 

High School Track:  Your Sacred Heart track and field team is STATE BOUND!  

 

CONGRATULATIONS to Kate Carney – advancing to state in shot put and also advancing, our 4 x 200-meter relay (Arly, Kate, Mariana and Allie)!!

 

The Class 1 State Track Meet is Saturday in Jefferson City.
