Announcements:
- The Gremlin Student Cafe is now open after school. Today’s Featured Item: Hot Pockets, Hot Chocolate, and Starbrust. Stop by and support your Student Council.
- On November 1st the cold weather dress code is in effect. Students will only be allowed to wear long pants but no shorts. Girls are also allowed to wear their uniform skirts.
- The Gremlin Student Store is here to help you out! Come check out all of the gently used uniform pants, shirts, and Gremlin Gear. We have various sizes of pants for students in all grades. All items are $5 each or you can buy four and get one free. That means for only $20 you can have a pair of pants for every day of the week!
- The wi-fi is currently not available. This means that ipads, Chromebooks, and Laptops will not be able to connect with the internet. We are working to get it fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.
- Any high school girl interested in swimming or diving for The Sacred Heart Swim Team, please come to a short informational meeting Tuesday, 10/27 at 7:20 AM in the commons. We will meet at the east parking lot door. Practice schedules will be available. If you can’t make the meeting and would like to swim or dive, email or see Mrs. Hegger soon for details.
Sports Action:
High School Volleyball: VAR (19-7-1, 9-0) JV (7-5, 6-1) In the last regular season competition the Sacred Heart JV and Varsity were both victorious against Smithton. The JV team ended their season with a 7-5 Record and 6-1 in Conference play. The Varsity ends their regular season play 19-7-1 and 9-0 in Conference and heads into Districts beginning Tuesday @ Sacred Heart.
Junior High Volleyball: (6-7-1, 5-3-1) They lost both sets against Smithton. They play this weekend in the Kaysinger Conference Tournament at Green Ridge.
High School Soccer: VAR (11-4, 4-0) The varsity next action is TBA.
Junior High Soccer: (8-3-1, 6-0) The JH soccer team won last night against Smithton. They play next Tuesday in the Kaysinger Conference Tournament at Smithton.
High School Girls Golf: Won first in Class 1 State Golf! Congratulations!
High School Football: VAR (5-1, 0-0) The varsity football team’s next action is this Friday in St. Joseph, MO vs St. Joe LeBlond High School. Game time is 7pm.
Junior High Football: (4-1) Congrats to the Junior High football team they ended their season with a 4-1 record.
