• Fall Homecoming is this week! Tomorrow students in grades 9-12 wear your Red and White. The pep rally will be for grades 9-12 only this year tomorrow at 12:15. You will leave the cafeteria and head to the McGremlin gym. Each class will be assigned a section in the bleachers. After the pep rally students will be given their 2020 Yearbook. Then you will go back to your fifth-hour class.
• Fall Homecoming coronation will be at halftime of the varsity soccer game on Friday. Come out to Clover Dell at 5:30pm to support

• All STUCO, Cheer, candidates, escorts, and crown bearers should arrive at the game tomorrow by 5:30pm.

 

 

Sports Action

 

High School Volleyball: Varsity (7-4-1, 3-0) JV (3-3, 2-0) next game is tonight in Stover.  JV first serve is at 5:30 in the Stover main gym.

 

Junior High Volleyball: The JH girls (3-4, 2-1) also travel to Stover this evening.  Their game starts at 5:30 in the auxiliary gym.

 

High School Soccer: (3-4, 1-0) The varsity boys continue conference play today in Stover.  Kickoff is after the JH game.

 

Junior High Soccer: The JH soccer team’s (2-2, 0-1) next game is this afternoon in Stover.  Kick off is at 5pm.

 

High School Girls Golf: Sacred Heart Lady Golfers play this afternoon in a dual match at Marshall.  Tee time is 4pm.

 

High School Football: The varsity football team (2-1, 0-0) is on the road tomorrow night vs the Schuyler County Rams.  Kickoff is at 7pm.

 

Junior High Football: The JH football teams (2-0) next action is on Monday, September 28 in Chilhowee.  Game time is 5:30pm.

Good Morning Lord,

As we pray this Fall Homecoming week for our Sacred Heart Alumni, please help us to know deep in our hearts today that you are ready to remove whatever obstacles we placed between ourselves and you.  Open our hearts, minds and souls as well as the hearts, minds and souls of the Gremlins who have come before us to see the future you have imagined for us, and give us the courage to embrace your plans for us.  Please help Sacred Heart School and the hearts of all of us who attend both past and present to be a place where the love of Christ is present and visible.  AMEN
