The time period between Monday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 27 will be designated for dropping off books, cleaning out lockers and getting personal items from the classrooms.  The building will be available between 8 am and 3 pm.  We will ask all individuals to be sensitive to social distancing guidelines throughout this process.

Teachers in grades K – 5 will gather each student’s individual belongings to be ready for pick up and place them on the students’ desk.  Parents/Students in grades K – 5 will return books to their classrooms (placing them on the student desk) and pick up their personal things.

To help ensure everything belonging to the school is effectively returned, teachers will design a sign-in / check-off sheet that each family will be asked to fill in when they come to the classroom.

Parents/Students in grades 6 – 12 will return books to the classroom the classes typically met in.  They will also be responsible for cleaning out their lockers while they are here.  Class moderators will be responsible for a final check-in regard to locker cleanout.

Teachers in grades 6 – 12 will prepare book return sheets as well.  Each teacher should have tables set up in their classrooms clearly designated as to which textbook should be returned in what location.  Please be sure to fill out the check-in sheet in each classroom to make sure you receive credit for returning your book.

Although teachers are allowed to be in the building during this process (adhering to appropriate social distancing guidelines) there will be no official expectations in that regard.

Teachers will be asked to have 4th quarter and 2nd-semester grades prepared and submitted by Wednesday, May 27.  Grade cards will be prepared for distribution on June 1.  All end of year obligations (tuition, uniforms, fines, lunch obligations, etc., etc.) will need to be taken care of prior to the release of grades.

The athletic department will be establishing a process for getting uniforms returned.  Although we did not get to compete this spring, all uniforms were distributed for pictures.

Awards assemblies hosted by Mr. Jones, Mrs. Buckley, and myself will be live-streamed on Facebook Wednesday, June 3.  The K – 5 assembly will air at 9 am followed by the assembly for grades 6 – 11 at 10 am.  Senior awards assembly will take place during senior week.
