Wednesday, January 15  

  • Disney Dress Up Day (Grades 9-12)
  • Bake Sale at Lunch (All Grades) to benefit the BRHC Cardiac Lab
  • Congratulations to the Student Council and the entire SHS Family for raising $689.25 for Cancer Perks last night.
  • There will be a J4J Meeting during lunch in the commons thursday

 

Robotics: The Robotics Team next competition is this Saturday.

 

Scholar Bowl:  The academic bowl team’s next competition is Thursday in LaMonte.  

 

Sports Action: 

HS Girls Basketball:   Varsity Girls (7-7, 2-2) beat the Smithton Tigers by a score of 68-46 last night at home.  The girls next action is Friday night in Homecoming action vs the Tipton Cardinals. They play after the JV boys contest.

 

HS Boys Basketball:  Varsity Boys (7-7, 2-2) and JV (1-1) lost a tough one 68-67 last night at home vs Smithton.  The JV boys ……

The boys play again Friday night in Homecoming action vs the Tipton Cardinals.  Tip off at 5pm followed by the varsity girls and the varsity boys games.

 

HS Girls Swim:  Sacred Heart Swim team travels to Raytown today.  This Saturday you might want to make plans to come to the Sedalia Middle School to cheer on the Sacred Heart Swim Team.  Races start at 11:00AM and will wind up about 3:00PM. Stop by for a while and catch a race! 

 

JH Girls Basketball:  The Junior High Girls “A” (2-1, 2-0) next action is on the road Thursday in Tipton.  Game time for “A” girls action is 5:30pm.

 

JH Boys Basketball: The Junior High Boys “A” (4-0, 3-0) & “B” Teams (3-1, 2-1) boys next action is also on the road Thursday in Tipton.  Boys “A” tips off after the girls “B” game.

Thank you for all the ways you bless us, those we are aware of and all those we are still oblivious to.  The Scriptures show us that from the beginning you have desired friendship with humanity.  

 

Help us to know and believe that just as you yearned for friendship with Adam & Eve; Abraham, Moses, and Noah; Ruth, Esther, Rachel and mary; you desire a powerful friendship with us.

 

Give us the wisdom to make prayer a priority in our lives so that we can build a relationship and foster a true and beautiful friendship with You.
