Announcements:
- There will be a Senior Class meeting today with Mr. Jones during lunch in the commons.
- There will be another Senior Class meeting during lunch tomorrow in the commons.
- A coat and a pair of tennis shoes were left in the locker room at Green Ridge on Friday night. If you think they might belong to you please check in the main office
- 8th Graders: Freshman Orientation is Wednesday evening beginning at 5:30. We have an exciting new format to help you get a feel for what the SHHS experience is going to be like. We look forward to seeing you there!
- Follow the Star is rescheduled for this Sunday – 6:30 in the Sacred Heart Chapel
- Bellarmine Speech Practice will be Tuesday from 3-4:15. We’ll meet on the second floor in the room across from Mrs. Bentch’s second-grade classroom. If you finished up fall sports and would like to join us, please do so. This is open to grades 6-8.
- If any JH basketball player accidentally picked up a set of headphones from the locker room Friday night, then realized they were not yours please turn them into Dr. Register of to the main office. Thanks!

Sports Action:
HS Girls Basketball: Varsity Girls (6-5, 1-0) next action tonight at home. The Grems take on the Otterville Eagles in a 5:00pm tip-off.
HS Boys Basketball: Varsity Boys (5-5, 0-0) open conference play at HOME tonight vs the Lincoln Cardinals. The JV plays after the girls game vs Otterville with the varsity game to follow.
HS Girls Swim: The girls’ next meet is on Tuesday (1/7) in Lee’s Summit.
JH Girls Basketball: The Junior High Girls “A” (1-1, 1-0) got their first win of the season Friday night in Green Ridge. Their next game is Monday January 13 at home vs Smithton. The game time is 5:30.
JH Boys Basketball: The Junior High Boys “A” (2-0, 1-0) & “B” Team (2-0, 1-0) were both victorious (48-18 & 42-2) Friday night in Green Ridge. Their next action is tonight in Otterville. The “A” game is at 5:30pm.

Help us to know deep in our hearts today that you are ready to remove whatever obstacles we placed between ourselves and you. Open our hearts, minds, and souls to see the future you have imagined for us, and give us the courage to embrace your plans for us even when we feel unsure or unworthy.
