Announcements:

• We are completing our finals today.  Let’s keep a strong testing atmosphere in the building during testing times.  That means no traffic in the hallways during the exams.
• We have all-school Mass this morning at 8am.  Please begin to dismiss for mass immediately after these announcements.  The 2nd hour final begins at 9:15.
• Seniors will meet with Mr. Jones during lunch in the Commons today
• Sacred Heart Scholar Bowl students please mark your calendar for Thursday, Jan 9th.  We’ll meet at 7:00 AM in Ms. Close’s room to discuss our next competition on Jan. 16th at LaMonte.

 

Robotics: The Robotics Team next competition is on January 18th in KC.

 

Scholar Bowl:  The academic bowl team’s next competition is January 16 in LaMonte.

 

Sports Action: 

HS Girls Basketball:   Varsity Girls (6-4, 1-0) next action is Saturday in the SFCC Shootout.  The Grems take on Sweet Springs in a 4:30pm tip-off.

 

HS Boys Basketball:  Varsity Boys (4-4, 0-0) next action is also Saturday in the SFCC Shootout.  The boys take on Sweet Springs in a 6:00pm tip-off.

 

HS Girls Swim:  The girls’ next meet is on Tuesday (1/7) in Lee’s Summit.

 

JH Girls Basketball:  The Junior High Girls “A” (0-1, 0-0) & “B” (0-1, 0-0) teams next action is Friday, January 3rd in Green Ridge.  The game time is 5:30.

 

JH Boys Basketball: The Junior High Boys “A” (1-0, 0-0) & “B” Team (1-0, 0-0) next action is Friday, January 3rd in Green Ridge.  The game time is 5:30.  

The lineup of JH games is normally Girls “B”, Girls “A”, Boys “A” and Boys “B”.  The action begins at 5:30pm.
