Announcements:

  • Tomorrow will be an early out and a spirit dress day for a faculty meeting.  We will be on a shortened day schedule.
  • There will be an NJHS meeting immediately after school on Thursday in Mrs. Kilby’s room.
  • If you are interested in the Elks Free throw contest that will be held here this Saturday. The event is open for boys and girls ages 8-13. You will need to bring proof of age with you to enter.  Please come to the office and get a form if you are interested.
  • Scholar Bowl:  The academic bowl team’s next competition is on December 10th in Lincoln.

 

Sports Action:

HS Girls Basketball:  Varsity Girls (2-2, 0-0) evened their season record at 2-2 last night with a 61-32 win over Drexel in the opening round of the Kingsville Tournament.  The Grems return to tournament action tonight in a 7:30 tip-off vs the Chilhowee Indians.

 

HS Boys Basketball:  Varsity Boys (1-2, 0-0) played Marshall last night in the second round of the Marshall Tournament.  The Grems wrap up the tournament in consolation bracket play on Friday.

 

HS Girls Swim:  The girl’s first meet is on December 10th vs the Columbia Public Schools at the Sedalia Middle School Pool.  The meet starts at 4pm.

 

JH Girls Basketball:  The Junior High Girls (0-0, 0-0) open their season on the road Friday, December 13 in Russellville.  The tip-off is at 5pm.

 

JH Boys Basketball: The Junior High Boys (0-0, 0-0) open their season on the road Friday, December 13 in Russellville.  The boys’ tip-off after the girls’ game.
