Announcements:

  • Today is the last day of warm weather dress for this fall.  No Shorts beginning on Tuesday.  
  • There will be a meeting for any 7th and 8th-grade boy interested in basketball this winter on Today at 8:45 in the Reading lab.
  • Sacred Heart High School GIRLS SWIM MEETING Wednesday, Nov. 6th at 5:45pm @ Sedalia Middle School Pool. All parents and potential swimmers are invited to attend.  Come hear about the program from Coach Tankersley and see the facilities. Contact Mrs. Hegger for more information or if you can’t attend! Sports Action:

Volleyball: The Sacred Heart Varsity (18-10-3, 8-2) came away with the District Championship last night here at the SH Gym.  In the semifinal match, the girls bear Osceola 27-25, 24-26 &25-13. In the finals, the Grems beat the Lincoln Cardinals 25-22 & 25-17.  The girls now advance to the sectional round of the state tournament Saturday in Rich Hill. Way to go Grems!

 

Congratulations to the following Girls on receiving all-district honors:

  • Sophomore Kiley Beykirch 1st Team all-district
  • Freshman Emma Siron 1st Team all-district
  • Senior Grace Goodwin 2nd Team all-district
  • Junior Maria Mergen honorable mention all-district

 

 

Soccer:  The varsity soccer team’s (15-8, 5-0 Conference Champions) next action is in the semi-final round of the District Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 7.  Sacred Heart is hosting the District Tournament at Clover Dell Soccer Park.

 

JH Soccer: The JH Grems (7-3-1) will play the Smithton Tigers in the championship game of the JH Conference Tournament at 6:30 pm Friday night in Smithton.

 

Football: The varsity football team (1-8) begins playoff action Friday night vs the Liberal Bulldogs.  Kickoff is at 7pm in Liberal.
