Announcements:

  • Juan and Maddy Hayden please go see Mrs. Howell.
  • 6-9th-grade teachers, please remember to call the office when you are finished with testing today.  Once we hear from everyone, we will announce testing is complete and students may move on to their regularly scheduled classes.
  • Free tutoring in high school math will be available before school for students in grades 9 through 12 one or two days per week as the tutor’s schedule permits.  Students can come to Room 100 anytime after 7:05. Listen for announcements of the days that tutoring will take place.  
  • There will be a Stuco meeting on Today during lunch in Mrs.Starke’s room.
  • There will be a key club meeting Monday Oct 14th during lunch in the commons.

Sports Action:

Volleyball: The varsity (9-9-3, 5-1) plays in the pool play round of the Kaysinger Conference tournament tonight in Cole Camp.  The Grems take on Smithton at 5:30 and Stover at 7:30.

 

JH Volleyball: The JH Grems “A” (5-5, 5-2) & “B” team (4-1-1) next action is on Tuesday (10/15) at home vs LaMonte.

 

Soccer:  The varsity soccer team (11-5, 3-0) beat the Green Ridge Tigers 2-0 in the semi-final round of the Kaysinger Conference Soccer Tournament last night.  They now advance to the championship match on Friday night in Stover. Kickoff is at 8pm.   

 

JH Soccer: The JH Grems (5-3-1) lost to Buecker Middle School of Marshall by a score of 5-2 .  Theis next action is on Tuesday at home vs LaMonte. Kickoff is at 5pm.

 

Girls Golf: Sacred Heart Lady Golfers’ next action is in the Sectional Tournament on Monday, October 14 at Payne Stewart Golf Course in Springfield. 

 

Football: The varsity football team (1-5) travels to Liberal High School this Friday.  Kickoff is at 7pm.

 

JH Football: The JH football team (2-2) close out their season vs KC East on the 21st in Hughesville.  Kickoff is at 6pm.
