Announcements:

  • Academic Bowl will have its Kick-Off meeting TODAY in the cafeteria at lunch.  Students 9 – 12 are encouraged to attend. Please join us and become part of the 2019-2020 SH Academic Bowl Team. 
  • Today is “Blessing of the Pets”. Please dismiss those with pets after the announcements to the Mcgremlin gym
  • Fearfest Kiddos we will have dinner served at 4:15 in the commons this afternoon before we board the bus at 5pm – Dress appropriately
  • JH and HS we need your help! Sunday, October 6th is the Sacred Heart Bazaar, we need help with collecting tickets and manning the tables. There will be a signup sheet on the office door if you are available to help. 
  • There will be a Kickoff Assembly for the Student-Parent Division of the Annual Fund Drive on Tuesday, October 8 @ 2:35 in the Main Gym.  This involves students in grades 6 – 12.
  • 6-12 Monday, October 7th is the DEADLINE to turn in your discount cards for your class treasury and homecoming competitions

Sports Action:

Volleyball: The varsity (9-8-3, 5-0) beat the Northwest Mustangs 25-6, 25-12.  The JV won 25-12. The girls travel to Cole CAmp next Tuesday to resume conference play.  

 

JH Volleyball: The JH Grems “A” (4-4, 3-1) next game is tonight at home vs Northwest.

 

Soccer:  The varsity soccer team (8-5, 3-0) shutout the Cole Camp Bluebirds yesterday buy a score of 2-0 yesterday.  They take on the Marshall Owls tomorrow morning @ Clover Dell Park. Kickoff is at 10am.  

 

JH Soccer: The JH Grems (4-2-1) next action is this evening in Cole Camp.  Kickoff is at 5pm.

 

Girls Golf: The varsity girls’ next action is Monday, October 7 in the District Tournament.  Tee time is ___am.

 

Football: The varsity football team (1-4) plays at home tonight vs Drexel.  Kickoff is at 7pm in Hughesville.

 

JH Football: The JH football team (1-2) next game is a home game vs Lincoln on Oct. 7, with kickoff at 6pm.
