  • Please make plans to join us for the first-ever mass of St. Vincent de Paul parish!  This takes place this Sunday, September 22 at 10:30 am.  Mass will be held at the Heckart Performing Arts Center on the campus of Smith-Cotton High School.  Bishop W. Shawn McKnight will be here to serve as the main presider with Fr. Mark Miller and our pastors Fr. Joseph Corel and Fr. David Veit concelebrating.  This is a history-making event, please tell mom & dad that you want to be there!
  • Interested in being a part of the Gremlin Girl Dance Team this year?  There will be an informational meeting at Panera Sat. Sept 28th at 9am.  This meeting is for parents and students!
  • Envirothon will have a lunch meeting today in Mrs. Hagebusch’s room.
  • Cheer will have a lunch meeting today in Mrs.Starke’s room.
  • FRIDAY is the first quarter mid-quarter.
  • If you DO NOT intend on selling your Discount Cards from APC. Please return them to the office. We have other students who are willing to sell them.

Sports Action:

Volleyball: The varsity (5-4-1) started slow but came back to beat Lincoln in 3 sets last night.  The JV (2-4) lost to Lincoln 2 games to 1.  The Grems’s next action is Thursday at home in a big conference matchup vs Green Ridge.  JV plays after the Junior High. Varsity action will cap off the night!


JH Volleyball: The JH Grems “A” team (2-1-2) beat Lincoln in 2 straight last night.  The “B” team (1-0) opened their season with a 2-0 victory as well. The next action is at home on Thursday vs. Green Ridge.  First serve is at 5pm.


Soccer:  The varsity soccer team (2-4) opens conference play with our first home match of the season on Thursday at Clover Dell Park.  SH plays Green Ridge with a 5pm start.


JH Soccer: The JH Grems (0-0-1) play the Otterville Eagles after the varsity game on Thursday at Clover Dell Park.


Girls Golf: The varsity girls’ shot a 416 top take second place in the Marshall Tournament yesterday.  Their next match is tomorrow evening at WAFB vs Green Ridge.  Tee time is 4pm.


Football: The varsity football team (1-2) travels to Appleton City on Friday night.  Kickoff is at 7pm.


JH Football: The JH football team (1-0) next action is Monday, September 23 vs. Orrick.  The game is in Hughesville with kickoff at 6pm.
