  • There will be an ESports meeting for any interested high school students in the commons today during lunch. Grab your tray and come on down
  • High School Students:  PLease do not leave things on top of your lockers at the end of the day.  Please stow everything away neatly inside your locker as you pack up at the end of each day.  Thanks!
  • There will be an NJHS meeting, Thursday, September 5th, after school in Mrs. Kilby’s (Tague) room.
  • Thursday is an early out with Spirit dress, please ask your teachers if you are concerned with dress code. We will be on shortened day schedule.
  • We have all school mass Friday September 6th at 8:30
  • Dual credit applications are due Friday please bring to Mrs.Buckley or to the office. 
  • STUCO wants to celebrate your birthday with a free dress down day! Please see the calendar on Mrs. Starke’s door so you can sign to confirm the day you are able to dress down. Sports Action:

Volleyball: The varsity volleyball team (1-0) opened their season with a 25-15, 25-11 win over the Fr. Tolton Trailblazers last night in Columbia.   The JV (0-1) lost a close one 14-25, 25-18 & 11-15.  The girls next action is Thursday night in their home opener vs the Crest Ridge Cougars with JV starting at 5:30pm followed by varsity action.


JH Volleyball: The JH Grems open their season on Friday, September 13 in the Sacred Heart Tournament.


Soccer:  The varsity soccer team (1-0) opened their season yesterday with a 4-2 win over the defending district champ Lone Jack Mules.  They advance to the semifinal round of the winners’ bracket in the Barstow Tournament on Thursday as they take on Platte County in a 5:45 kickoff.


JH Soccer: The JH Grems open their season on Thursday, September 19 in a home match vs the Green Ridge Tigers.


Girls Golf: The varsity girls placed 2nd in a quad match yesterday. Smith-Cotton varsity took first shooting a 188 while the Grems shot a 230.  The girls next action is on Tuesday in Boonville. Tee time is 4pm.


Football: The varsity football teams (0-1) next action is this Thursday at North Shelby High School.  Kickoff is at 5pm.


JH Football: The JH football team opens their season on Monday, September 16 at Chilhowee.  Kickoff is at 5pm.
