Announcements:

  • Students in grades 7-12th! There are only 14 yearbooks available to be purchased. Buy your copy today!
  • Students in grades PreK 3 to 6th grade! There are only 19 yearbooks available to be purchased! See Mrs. Howell to get an order form!
  • Just a reminder that the seniors and juniors are out all this week.
  • The Book Fair begins this week. Make sure to stop by and grab a good book!
  • Tuesday, April 2nd there will be a girls 8-11 basketball meeting in the hoying gym with Coach Crooker during homeroom
  • Tuesday, April 2nd there will be a boys 8-11 basketball meeting in the hoying gym with Coach Goodwin during homeroom
  • Sophomores will be out all day Friday on a field trip.
  • Babysitters are needed for the 1st communion parent meeting from 6-8 on Thursday, April 4th. If you need service hours and are interested in helping, please see Mrs. Bentch.

 

Sports Action:

Baseball: The varsity boys (1-4, 1-3) next action is on Tuesday, April 9 in Green Ridge.  Game time is 5pm.

 

Softball: The varsity girls (0-4, 0-2) play at home tonight vs. the Northwest Mustangs in a 5pm start.

 

Golf: The varsity boys (3-2) next action is Thursday, April 4 in Boonville vs. the Fayette Falcons with a 4pm tee time.

 

Tennis: The varsity tennis team (2-0) opens their home season on Friday with a match vs. the Clinton Cardinals at the Liberty Park Courts.  First serve is at 4pm.

 

Track: The high school track team’s opening meet is 4/1 in Versailles.

Congrats to our Junior High track team for great performances at their opening meet Tuesday in Windsor.  A few of the top finishers include:

  • Emma Siron – first place in the 100-meter dash
  • Emma Lane – first place in the 200-meter dash, first place in the triple jump, third place in the 100-meter dash
  • Mariana Restrepo – second place in the 800-meter run
  • Reuben Smith – third place in the mile run
  • Jaden Velando – fifth place in the long jump
  • Leo Alvarez, Jaden Velando, Jackson Manning, Reuben Smith placed fifth in the boys’ 4 x 400-meter relay

 

The team’s next action is on Monday, April 8 in Smithton.  The meet will begin at 4pm.
