The Hall of Fame Selection committee led by our pastor Fr. Mark Miller, had the tough task this year of reviewing a stack of applications, but once again succeeded in identifying a remarkable and deserving group for our third induction class.

Members of our 3rd Hall of Fame induction class have been notified. The official Hall of Fame induction will take place in September, and all are welcome to attend. Congratulations to our 2019 Hall of Fame Inductees!
From the SHHS Class of 1968, a gentleman who has served his country, his community and his parish with great loyalty, Mr. David Brown.
From the SHHS Class of 1988, a gentleman who has served his country in the Missouri Army National Guard for the past 20 years, rising to the rank of Major, with tours of duty in both Iraq and Afghanistan, a bronze Star award winner, Mr. Jamie Melchert.
From the SHHS Class of 1961, a gentleman who is the epitome of a Sacred Heart Parishioner and Alumnus, a Navy veteran, successful business owner and a daily communicant, Mr. David Rouchka.
Our next inductees are from the classes of 1949 and 1952 respectively. Mrs. Mary Ann Kuhlman Stohr ‘49. She was a lifetime Catholic School mom, teacher and played an integral role in the early days of the Bellarmine Speech league for Catholic School students. Bellarmine speech serves Catholic School students to this day!
Her husband, the Honorable Judge Donald Stohr ‘52, served as senior judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern MO district from 1992 thru 2012. Judge Stohr is being inducted posthumously.
From the SHHS Class of 1970, an individual with a family modeled on Catholic values and a stellar reputation as a telecommunications and finance executive on a national scale, Mr. Jim Wanserski.
The final individual being recognized in this class and also being recognized posthumously is Mr. Melvin “Pete” Emerson. Pete served as a custodian and maintenance man for many years. He is truly beloved by those who knew him during his years serving our parish and school.
Finally, in the group category, Sacred Heart School is proud to recognize and induct the 1998 Cast and Crew of the musical ‘Godspell’. ‘Godspell’ was directed by Mrs. Jan Bahner and was the school’s first effort at a musical production in decades it was a delightful, smashing hit, leading the way to many more wonderful musical productions in the past 20 years!
Sacred Heart School has prospered and thrived throughout the years’ thanks to many dedicated and remarkable individuals. The Sacred Heart School Hall of Fame is one way in which we can pay well-earned tribute to special members of our Sacred Heart School family.
Congratulations again to our 2019 Hall of Fame Class for receiving this deserving recognition. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
