Announcements:

  • The weather is getting better and it is time to get your car washed!  For the rest of this week, running through Sunday, February 3rd, the 10th and Thompson Car Wash is sponsoring a terrific CSW promotion.  In honor of Catholic Schools Week 2019, they have committed to a $1 donation to Sacred Heart School for every car through the Automatic Car Washes. *This promotion does not include customers utilizing the Unlimited Car Wash plan.

 

  • There will have a track meeting for JH and HS during homeroom today in the commons.

 

  • There will be an NJHS meeting immediately after school, Thursday, February 7th, in Ms. Tague’s room.

 

  • We have all school mass today @ 1:30 to wrap up Catholic Schools Week 2019.

 

Sports Action:

Varsity/JV Boys Basketball:  The varsity (12-7, 5-1) & JV (7-0) were victorious in Stover last night.  They open play in the conference tournament tomorrow morning @ 10am @ the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the campus of State Fair Community College.  They will play the winner of tonight’s Windsor – NW game.

 

Varsity/JV Girls Basketball: The varsity girls (4-15, 3-3) lost to Stover last night by a score of 65-55.  They open play in the conference tournament tonight @ 7:30pm in Smithton.  They will play the Lincoln Cardinals.

 

Junior High Boys Basketball: The Sacred Heart JH Boys “A” (8-3, 6-2) lost in overtime last night in Cole Camp by a score of 26-23. The “B” teams (4-0-1) tied the Bluebirds 8-8 in their game.  Their next action is at Lincoln on Monday night vs Lincoln. The boys “A” & “B” teams play immediately following the “A” girls game.

 

Junior High Girls Basketball: The JH Girls (5-5, 3-4) lost in Cole Camp last night by a score of 23-22.  The girls “A” team takes on the Lincoln Lady Cardinals in a 5:30pm tip on Monday night.
