Announcements:
- All this week and running through Sunday, February 3rd the 10th and Thompson Car Wash is once again sponsoring a terrific CSW promotion. In honor of Catholic Schools Week 2019, they have committed to a $1 donation to Sacred Heart School for every car through the Automatic Car Washes. *This promotion does not include customers utilizing the Unlimited Car Wash plan.
- The STUCO Bake Sale will be today, January 29 during lunch. Items may be purchased for 25 cents to $2. All proceeds will be donated to the Bothwell Regional Health Center Cardiac Rehab.
- There will have a track meeting for JH and HS during homeroom Friday, February 1st in the commons
- Wednesday will be McSacred Heart Night at the McDonald’s on West Broadway. Between 4 & 8 pm Wednesday evening, a portion of all proceeds will be donated back to Sacred Heart School in honor of CSW 2019!
- Rachel’s Families will meet during homeroom today.
Sports Action:
Varsity/JV Boys Basketball: The varsity (10-7, 5-0) return to conference play tonight with a road contest in Windsor. The JV game tips off at 6pm.
Varsity/JV Girls Basketball: The varsity girls (4-14, 3-3) beat the Windsor Greyhounds by a score of 57-47 last night in a Kaysinger Conference game here in the SH gym. The Lady Grems travel to Stover on Thursday.
Junior High Boys Basketball: The Sacred Heart JH Boys (8-2, 6-1) lost their first conference game of the season by a 37-32 count in Windsor last night. Sacred Heart “B” team improved their record to 4-0 with a 12-5 win. Traven Wheeler led the way for the Gremlins with 5 points. The Grems next action is Thursday night in another Kaysinger Conference road game in Cole Camp. The boys “A” & “B” teams play immediately following the “A” girls game.
Junior High Girls Basketball: The JH Girls (5-4, 3-3) lost to Windsor on the road last night. The Grems next action is Thursday in Cole Camp. The girls “A” team takes on the Lady Bluebirds in a 5:30pm tip.
