Announcements:
- All this week and running through Sunday, February 3rd the 10th and Thompson Car Wash is once again sponsoring a terrific CSW promotion. In honor of Catholic Schools Week 2019, they have committed to a $1 donation to Sacred Heart School for every car through the Automatic Car Washes. *This promotion does not include customers utilizing the Unlimited Car Wash plan.
- The STUCO Bake Sale will be on Tuesday, January 29 during lunch. Items may be purchased for 25 cents to $2. All proceeds will be donated to the Bothwell Regional Health Center Cardiac Rehab.
- There will have a track meeting for JH and HS during homeroom Friday, February 1st in the commons
- Wednesday will be McSacred Heart Night at the McDonald’s on West Broadway. Between 4 & 8 pm Wednesday evening, a portion of all proceeds will be donated back to Sacred Heart School in honor of CSW 2019!
Sports Action:
Varsity/JV Boys Basketball: The varsity (10-7, 5-0) beat the Santa Fe Chiefs in the consolation trophy game of the Slater Tournament on Friday night. The Grems return to conference play on Tuesday with a road contest in Windsor. The JV game tips off at 6pm.
Varsity/JV Girls Basketball: The varsity girls (3-14, 2-3) lost to the Slater Wildcats in the 7th place game of the Slater Tournament on Friday night. The Grems host the Windsor Greyhounds tonight in a Kaysinger Conference tilt. Tip-off is at 6pm.
Junior High Boys Basketball: The Sacred Heart JH Boys (8-1, 6-0) brought home the championship trophy in the SH Gremlin Invite on Friday evening with a 37-17 victory over the Northwest Mustangs. The Grems next action is tonight in a conference matchup in Windsor. The boys “A” & “B” teams take on the Windsor Greyhounds immediately following the “A” girls game. (“B” boys 3-0)
Junior High Girls Basketball: The JH Girls (5-3, 3-2) brought home the 2nd place trophy in the Gremlin invite after losing to the NW Mustangs Friday night by a score of a 23-21. The Grems next action is tonight in a conference matchup in Windsor. The girls “A” team takes on the Windsor Greyhounds at 5:30pm.
