Announcements:
- It is time to sign up for the Steubenville experience! If you are in grades 8 – 11 and would like more information about the Steubenville retreat this summer please see Mrs. Bolin this week!
- JH & HS students wanting to start getting ready for the upcoming track season should plan to attend after-school workouts. These are voluntary but a great way to begin to get into shape. Contact Coach Carrie Smith for more information.
- Congratulations to Anna Carney, Addison Figge, and Maggie Van Leer for learning and reciting the multiplication facts 0-12 to the entire 3rd-grade class on Wednesday. We are so proud of you!
- Class Presidents please get your gremlin Olympic lists to Mrs. Howell ASAP.
- Spirit week is next week Jan. 14-18!! Please see Mrs. McCollester’s door if you have questions about dress up days.
- Spirit stick totals are located on Mrs. McCollester’s door. Remember the class that wins the spirit stick gets a day off of school.
Sports Action:
Varsity/JV Boys Basketball: The varsity (7-6, 4-0) & JV (6-0) boys were both victorious last night over the Sweet Springs Greyhounds. The JV won an overtime thriller while the varsity won by a comfortable margin. The boys next action is Tuesday night on the road in Smithton. The JV tips off at 6pm.
Varsity/JV Girls Basketball: The varsity girls (3-10, 2-2) lost their game vs Sweet Springs last night in the SH gym. The girls next action is also on Tuesday night in Smithton.
Junior High Boys Basketball: The JH Boys “A”(4-1, 4-0) and “B” (3-0) teams next action is Monday, 1/14 in Smithton. Boys action will follow the girls “A” game.
Junior High Girls Basketball: The JH Girls (3-1, 3-0) next game is Monday, the 14th vs the Smithton Tigers in Smithton. The girls game will start @ 5:30.
