- This is First Semester Finals Week! The first-hour final is tomorrow morning. Let’s prepare well and finish strong.
- Congratulations to Jaxon Twenter for learning and reciting the multiplication facts 0-12 to the entire 3rd-grade class on Monday. We are so proud of you!
- The Lion King is coming to Sacred Heart! Mrs. Bahner and Mr. Hartman are excited to announce that our spring musical production will be The Lion King (Junior). It will be presented on March 15-16, 2019. Auditions will be during the week of January 7 and will be open to students in grades 7-12. A company contract is now available — you can get one from Mrs. Bahner or Mr. Hartman. All students who wish to audition must take this information packet home for parent signature prior to auditions. Please join us! We want to make The Lion King an experience you’ll always remember.
Sports Action:
Varsity/JV Boys Basketball: The varsity (5-3, 3-0) (JV is 3-0) boys play in the North Central Community College Holiday Shootout in Trenton, MO over the break. On Wed. Dec. 26, the boys take on Hamilton Penney High School at 6pm. Then on Mon. the 31st we play Winston High School at 3pm.
Varsity/JV Girls Basketball: The varsity girls (3-8, 2-1) lost to Clinton High School at home last night by a score of 47-34. Their next action is on Monday, January 7th at Otterville. Tip-off is at 6:00pm.
Junior High Boys Basketball: The JH Boys “A”(2-1, 2-0) and “B” (2-0) teams were both winners in Tipton last night. “A” team score was 44-28 and “B” team won by a score of 15-2. Next JH action will take place at home on Thursday, Jan. 3rd @ home vs. Green Ridge. Boys action will follow the girls “A” game.
Junior High Girls Basketball: The JH Girls (2-1, 2-0) beat the Tipton Cardinals last night in Tipton. The girls next JH action will take place at home on Thursday, Jan. 3rd @ home vs. Green Ridge. The girls game will start @ 5:30.
