Announcements:

  • Winter Sports Pictures will be taken on Today November 19th.  The schedule for which teams pictures will be taken at what times will be out soon.  Coaches please stop by the office and pick up individual packets.

 

  • The Sedalia Knights of Columbus will be holding a Book Fair on Nov. 30, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Dec. 1, 2018, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (or until all books are sold).  It will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall 1708 Elm Hills Blvd with the proceeds to benefit our Seminarian Christopher Hoffmann and the Sacred Heart Tuition Assistance Program.

 

The available books include 347 authors.  And will sell for $5.00 per book plus $5.00 additional for an author signed copy.  Clearance sale prices may occur on Dec. 1 in order to sell out book inventory. Payment can be made by cash and check only with ‘All Sales Final’.

 

  • Rachel’s Families will meet during homeroom today to plan for Wednesday’s session.
  • The high school speech team will be dismissed at 2:30 today for the conference tournament at SFCC this evening.
  • All first hour teachers please take the dress down money and send to the office with a list of the students not participating today.

Sports Action:

 

Varsity/JV Boys Basketball: The varsity boys (1-0, 0-0) opened their season on Friday night with a 65-33 win over the Leeton Bulldogs. Their next action is on Monday, 11/26 vs Marshall in the Marshall Tournament.

 

Varsity/JV Girls Basketball: The varsity girls (0-1, 0-0) dropped their season opener to a strong Leeton team on Friday night by a score of 52-28.  The girls’ open conference play tonight with a 6 pm game at home vs. the LaMonte Vikings.
