Announcements:
- Tomorrow is Grandparents Day for students in grades K – 5. Festivities begin with Holy Mass at 8:15. Let’s be at our best to welcome the grandparents of our elementary students!
- There will be a meeting today for any JH boys interested in basketball this winter. The meeting will take place in the ITV lab during homeroom.
- There will be a CMU Science and Math Competition Meeting today during homeroom In Mrs.Hagebusch room.
- Any 7th or 8th-grade girls interested in cheer, please come to the office and sign up.
- There will be a junior high Cheer Meeting tomorrow morning in the Hoying Gym During Homeroom.
- Grade cards will be distributed today. Students in grades 6 through 12 fines are posted on the office door. Please look to see that you do not owe any fine money.
Sports Action
Volleyball:
The varsity girls (22-10-1 / 9-1) are the champions of the MSHSAA District 13 Volleyball Tournament. The girls beat Sweet Springs in the semi-finals and top-seeded (and #2 ranked in the state) Santa Fe 25-21 28-26 in the finals. SHHS will host the sectional and quarterfinal rounds on Saturday. Please be looking for more information in regard to game times. Way to go girls!
JH Volleyball:
The JH Girls “A” (19-1) and “B” teams (5-2-3) both had great seasons. Congratulations to Coach Siron, Coach Tague, and the girls!
Girls Golf:
Congratulations to Coach Lucchesi and all the girls on a great Girls Golf season!
Soccer:
The varsity boys (12-10 / 4-1) soccer season came to a close with a 1-0 loss to the Saint Paul Saints last night in the District Tournament. Good Season guys!
JH Soccer:
The Gremlin JH Soccer teams (7-3-1) were victorious in the championship game of the Kaysinger Conference Soccer Tournament last night with a Penalty Kick shootout overtime win over the Stover Bulldogs. The game was tied 2-2 after regulation. The Grems made 3 of their first four PK’s while Stover only got 1 in the net securing the title for the Grems. Great job Grems!
JH Football:
The JH Football team concluded a very successful season with a 3-1 overall record Congratulations to Coach Crooker, Coach Damlo and the boys!
