Announcements:

  • There will be a meeting for students in grades 7 – 12 interested in signing up for Robotics Club on today in the ITV lab.  To be able to be part of this new activity you will have to be able to commit one afternoon a week (3:00 – 4:30) from mid-November thru the spring.  There is no cost to participants in this first year. If you have questions please contact Dr. Register or Mrs. Henke.
  • Tomorrow is spirit dress for grades k-8 and red and white for high school. No Face Painting until after mass for grades 9-12. No Face Painting at all for grades k-8. High school students: We will dismiss the high school students who are riding on a class float and queen candidates tomorrow at 1:15. You will need to proceed directly to your float on 3rd street. All High school athletes you will proceed to 5th and Kentucky. Teachers, please share the parade information with your homerooms.
  • There is a Junior Class meeting today during lunch in the commons.  Bring your lunches.
  • Attention Freshman through Seniors. Exciting news…  There is another great opportunity for the competition developing at Sacred Heart. Scholar Bowl! If you’re interested in academic competition, come to Ms.Close’s room for an organizational meeting Tuesday Oct.16 during Homeroom

 

Sports Action

Volleyball:

The varsity girls (16-10-1 / 6-1) take on the Tipton Cardinals tonight in the SH gym.  The varsity will play following the JH action.

 

JH Volleyball:

The JH Girls “A” (14-0) & “B” (4-1-2) teams beat Smith-Cotton JH School last night. The girls play again tonight at home vs. Tipton with a 5pm start.

 

Girls Golf:

Kelsey Hudson and Caton Lucchesi will represent our school in the MSHSAA  Girls Class One State Tournament next Monday and Tuesday. The tournament will be played at the Mozingo Golf Club in Maryville, MO.

 

Soccer:  

The varsity boys (10-8 / 3-1) travel to Concordia this evening to take on an always tough St. Paul’s Lutheran team.  Kick off is at 5pm.

 

JH Soccer:

The Gremlin JH Soccer team’s (5-3) next action is on Tuesday at home vs. Smithton.  Kick off is at 5:00pm.

 

JH Football:

The JH Football team concluded a very successful season with a 3-1 overall record!
