  • Anyone WHO WAS NOT an Envirothon Team Member last year, but wants to be on the team this year, will need to attend a meeting during homeroom on Tuesday, October 9th.  You will be taking a short test to see who qualifies for membership! Kiley, Claire, Juan, Hunter, Megan, Noe, and Natalie…..be sure and come!
  • There will be a meeting for students in grades 7 – 12 interested in signing up for Robotics Club on Thursday,  October 11 in the ITV lab. To be able to be part of this new activity you will have to be able to commit one afternoon a week (3:00 – 4:30) from mid-November thru the spring.  There is no cost to participants in this first year. If you have questions please contact Dr. Register or Mrs. Henke.
  • NJHS El Tap fundraiser takes place on Tonight from 5 – 9 pm.  Please come out and support the NJHS.
  • Class Presidents. Mrs.McCollester needs a list of your 6 float team members and a paragraph describing your float by Wednesday 10/10. As a reminder, there is NO candy or souvenir throwing in the parade. You will need to walk your items to the parade viewers. You will lose points off your float if you are seen throwing anything.


Sports Action


The varsity girls (14-10-1 / 5-1) beat Cole Camp late Saturday afternoon to win the championship of the Kaysinger Conference volleyball tournament.  They beat Stover to complete pool play and then advanced past Windsor in the semi-final round of bracket play. The girls next action is tomorrow evening in LaMonte.  They will play following the JH action.


JH Volleyball:

The JH Girls “A” (12-0) & “B” (3-1-2) teams next action is on Tuesday at LaMonte with a 5pm start.


Girls Golf:

Good Luck to Megan Wingerter, Kelsey Hudson, and Caton Lucchesi as they head to the MSHSAA Sectional Tournament today.  The tournament is being played at Fremont Hills Golf Club in Springfield.



The varsity boys (9-8 / 2-1) brought home the championship of the Kaysinger Conference Soccer tournament Friday evening with a 2-1 win over the Green Ridge Tigers.  The team’s next action is on Tuesday in LaMonte. Kick off is after the JH game.


JH Soccer:

The Gremlin JH Soccer team’s (5-3) next action is on Tuesday in LaMonte.  Kick off is at 4:30pm.


JH Football:

The JH Football team will play their final game of the season this evening as we take on the Northwest Mustangs at the S-C Youth Fields.  Kickoff is at 6 pm.
