At the end of September 2018, we celebrated our Sacred Heart students that utilized Go Math over the summer. We wanted to celebrate their hard work. We put together an ice cream sundae bar and a water balloon experience.

Research shows that over the summer students will lose approximately 2 months of what they learned the previous school year.  This causes teachers to have to review for 3-6 weeks at the beginning of the school year.

GO Math offers an awesome online program that allows students to work lessons at their own pace.  The program gives support in the form of extra examples students can view, the textbook is also just a click away, and in many questions, students can work through the problem step by step then try another problem using the same strategy.

Every student K-8 at Sacred Heart has the opportunity to use this program all year long.  If your student doesn’t know their log in please contact your teacher.

Over the summer students were able to use this program to help them review all the concepts they learned last school year.  We had 12 incoming 2nd graders, 5-3rd graders, 7-4th graders, 12-5th graders, 7-7th graders, and 3-8th graders take advance of this program.
