- Elementary mass and ABC awards today at 8:15 in the Church.
- Mrs. Bolin has extended the deadline for Fearfest until today if you are interested please see Mrs.Bolin.
- Today during homeroom Rachel’s Families will be meeting to organize snacks for next week’s meeting. Be sure to check the lists posted throughout the halls so you know where to meet. We look forward to seeing you today before next week’s meeting!! This will be for grades 7-12 today.
- Monday is our first paid dress down day of the year. All proceeds go to Miss Dey’s Rare Bear Quilting Charity. Faculty: please make guidelines for appropriate dress down available to the students today. Thanks!
Sports Action
Volleyball:
The varsity (7-5-1 / 3-1) beat Windsor last night on the road 25-20 & 25-20. The JV also won in 2 straight. The varsity girls travel to Camdenton tomorrow to take on more top-notch competition.
JH Volleyball:
The JH Girls “A” (10-0) & “B” (2-0-2) volleyball teams were also victorious in Windsor last night. Their next action next Thursday @ Northwest.
Girls Golf;
The varsity girls tied for second in a triangular match at Marshall yesterday shooting a team score of 228. Kelsey Hudson was low for the Grems at 51. Next action is on Wed. the 26th in a tri-match at the Sedalia Country Club. Tee time is 4pm.
Soccer:
The varsity boys (5-6 / 2-0) lost a tough one to Lone Jack last night at home by a score of 5-4. Their next action is on Monday at Clover Dell Soccer Park vs Kansas City Lutheran.
JH Soccer:
The Gremlin JH Soccer team (2-1) won a thrilling come from behind 4-3 match vs. Buecker Middle School of Marshall last night. Next action is on Thursday, 9/27 vs Cole Camp in a home match this at Clover Dell Soccer Park.
JH Football:
The JH Football team will play their final game of the season on Monday, October 8th as we take on the Northwest Mustangs at the S-C Youth Fields. Kickoff is at 6 pm.

New Sacred Heart Active Parents Club discount cards are available!
Recently, card packets were handed out to all students in 6th thru 12th grade and one packet per family for students in PreK-4 thru 5th grade. Please ask your child for cards if you have not received them, as each year we have students who “forget” cards in lockers or book bags. While optional, we do ask for each family’s participation in this sales effort, for maximum success. Cards can be sold or purchased to give to family and friends. Please see enclosed flyer for sales incentive details.
New advertisers this year are Ozark Coffee, Wellers Menswear, S-C Fuel, Jim’s Express, PrintLynx, Sedalia Aesthetics, Muddy Creek BBQ and Fitter’s Pub in Warrensburg.
Please return all sales proceeds and any remaining unsold cards to the school office in packet envelope by Oct. 8 to receive incentives, or by Nov. 9 at the latest.
Don’t Forget: High school classes get significant incentives for every card they sell to go towards their class treasury. This money helps them pay for Prom and Senior Mission Trip!
Thanks for your help. This is an easy sell and very valuable to the APC. This effort makes it possible to grant A LOT of teacher requests! Thanks again!

This group is open to all students in grades 7 – 12 and meets at the Newman House on the NW corner of 3rd and Moniteau.
Friday, September 21: Painting Night: We need your help painting at the Newman House. 6 P.M. All help from the community is greatly appreciated!
Wednesday, September 26: Bring a Friend Night – games and adoration from 6:30 to 8 PM
Friday, September 28: September Social- Leisure Park 6 PM-9 PM
We will eat pizza at the Newman House and carpool to Leisure Park. Then, we’ll enjoy a round of mini golf and go-karts and arrive back at the Newman House around 9 P.M.

¡Las Nuevas Tarjetas de Descuento del Club de Padres Activos ya están disponibles!
Recientemente se entregaron los paquetes de tarjetas a todos los estudiantes en grados del 6o al 12o grado y un paquete por familia a los estudiantes de PreK-4 a 5o grado. Por favor pregunte a su hijo por las tarjetas si aún no las ha recibido, cada año tenemos estudiantes que “olvidan” sus tarjetas en sus armarios o en sus mochilas o bolsas de libros. Aunque es opcional, pedimos la participación de cada familia en este esfuerzo de ventas para un mayor éxito. Las tarjetas pueden ser vendidas o compradas para darlas como obsequio a familiares y amigos. Por favor vea en el volante anexo los detalles sobre los incentivos de venta.
Los nuevos negocios en la tarjeta este año son el Café Ozark, Wellers Menswear, S-C Fuel, Jim’s Express, PrintLynx, Sedalia Aesthetics, Muddy Creek BBQ y Fitter’s Pub en Warrensburg.
Por favor entregue el dinero de las ventas y cualquier tarjeta que no haya vendido a la oficina escolar en el sobre en que se enviaron a más tardar el 8 de octubre para recibir los incentivos o a más tardar el 9 de noviembre.
No olvide: los grupos de Preparatoria obtienen incentivos significativos por cada tarjeta que venden dirigidos a su fondo monetario del grupo. ¡Este dinero los ayuda a pagar su Baile de Gala y su Viaje de Misión cuando están en 12o grado (Grado Senior)!

Próximos Eventos del Grupo Católico Juvenil del Condado de Pettis:
Este grupo está abierto a todos los estudiantes en grados 7 – 12 y se reúne en la Casa Newman en la esquina Noroeste de las calles 3a y Moniteau.
Viernes 21 de septiembre: Noche para pintar: Necesitamos su ayuda para pintar la Casa Newman. 6 P.M. ¡Toda la ayuda de nuestra comunidad es altamente apreciada!
Miércoles 26 de septiembre: Noche para Traer un amigo – juegos y adoración de 6:30 a 8 PM
Viernes 28 de septiembre: Reunión Social de Septiembre- Leisure Park 6 PM-9 PM
Vamos a comer pizza en la Casa Newman y luego compartiremos vehículos para trasladarnos al lugar llamado “Leisure Park”. Posteriormente, disfrutaremos de una ronda de mini golf y de los go-karts y volveremos a la casa Newman alrededor de las 9 P.M.

Baloncesto Juvenil/Infantil
¡Hola padres de alumnos en 3er, 4o y 6o grado! Es momento de empezar a pensar en el Baloncesto Juvenil/Infantil del Sagrado Corazón. Los formatos de inscripción ya deben haber llegado a casa. En caso de que un monstruo en la mochila o armario de su hijo se haya comido el permiso, el formulario electrónico se encuentra anexo a este mensaje. Por favor entréguelo a la escuela a más tardar el viernes 12 de octubre.
