Sports Action
Volleyball
The Grems (5-5-1 / 1-1) had a very competitive day in the Hillcrest High School Classic on Saturday. The girls went 3-3 in pool play advancing to bracket play in the Gold bracket. The Grems ran into the Jeff City Jays and lost 25-15 & 25-18. SH travels to Stover tomorrow evening for a conference matchup.
JH Volleyball:
The JH Girls “A” (8-0) & “B” (1-0-1) team took first in the Sacred Heart Tournament over the weekend. Other teams in the tournament included Marshall JH, S-C JH, Lange JH from Columbia and Warsaw JH. This is a great win vs. top-notch competition! Congratulations to Coach Siron and her girls! JH “A” & “B” teams travel to Stover tomorrow night in their next contest.
Girls Golf
The varsity girls compete in the Smith-Cotton Tournament today at the Sedalia Country Club.
Soccer:
The varsity boys (4-5 / 1-0) travel to Stover on Tuesday in another conference contest.
JH Soccer:
The Gremlin JH Soccer team (1-0) also travel to Stover on Tuesday evening.
JH Football:
The JH Football boys (1-1) next action is this evening in Sweet Springs vs the Greyhounds. Kickoff is at 5pm.
