• Yearbook students will be out today selling ads.
• Sedalia Youth Leadership students will be out today at their monthly program.
• There will be an NHS meeting Wednesday during lunch in the Commons. Bring your lunch with you!
• There is a freshman class meeting during homeroom today.  Please check in with your HR teacher prior to reporting to the art room.
• Student volunteers are needed for the Hall of Fame event this Sunday. The sign-up sheet is outside Mrs. Kennon’s room. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Van Leer. Our Hall of Fame induction is a special event bringing together alumni and friends of SHS that span the decades.
• There will be a meeting during homeroom next Tuesday, Sept. 18 in the ITV lab for any students, grades 7 – 12 who would be interested in hearing about the new Robotics Club here at SH.  

 

Sports Action

Volleyball

The Grems (3-2 / 0-0) lost a hard-fought contest to Columbia Hickman High School last night 25-23 25-23.  The girls play at home again tonight vs. the Lincoln Cardinals. First serve is at 5:30 pm

 

Girls Golf

The varsity girls travel to Warrensburg this afternoon for a triangular match @ Hidden Pines Golf Course.

 

Soccer:  

The varsity boys (3-5 / 0-0) lost a to the Helias Crusaders by a score of 7-0 yesterday in Jefferson City.  The JV Grems opened their season with a win over Helias. The soccer boys resume action Thursday in Green Ridge as we kick off conference play.

 

JH Soccer:

The Gremlin JH Soccer team will open their season on Thursday, Sept. 13 @ Green Ridge.

 

JH Volleyball:

The JH Girls team will open their season @ home tonight vs the Lincoln Cardinals.

 

JH Football:

The JH Football boys (1-1) lost to the Chilhowee Indians by a score of 46-32.  Next action is on Monday the 17th in Sweet Springs vs the Greyhounds. Kickoff is at 5pm.
