God our Father,

As we come before you this morning, we thank you for the gift of our lives, the life of our family members and that of our friends.  Thank you, Lord, for directing, protecting, guiding, guarding, governing and taking care of us throughout the night.

Lord, Bless the work of our hands so that all that we do today may be fulfilling to us, helpful to humanity and may we do it according to your Holy Will and for the greater glory of your name.   Amen.
