Merciful Father,

On this day, we are called to remember those who have died, particularly those who have died in the past year.  We sincerely pray for their joyful reunion with you, their loving creator.  Lord, as you command, we reach out to the fallen. We call on you on behalf of those we could not reach this year.  You raised your son from the dead that all may share in his joyful resurrection.  In Jesus’ name, we pray … AMEN.

• The Gremlin Student Store and Cafe are open every day after school. We have lots of new crewnecks and spirit wear! We also have Prime drinks. Please stop by today to see Michael and Sophie.
• Stop by the lost and found. There is a large collection of clothing and water bottles.
• Reminder: Picture Retake Day is TODAY. All students, faculty/staff will need to have their pictures taken for the yearbook.
• High School Class Presidents please meet in Mrs. Howell’s room on Friday during homeroom.
• Sacred Heart jackets are on sale for one week only. This is an online-only event. All orders are due by Tuesday, November 8 at noon. Jackets are considered spirit wear. They may not be worn during the school day with uniforms.
• Students in grades 6-12. Have you invited your grandparents to grandparents day? It’s Friday, Nov. 11. We’ll start the day with Mass at 8:30 and a Veteran’s day tribute at Sacred Heart Chapel followed by refreshments in the McGremlin Gym. Be sure to call/text your grandparents and invite them to attend!

Sports Action:

Soccer (16-9, 5-0)  The Sacred Heart boys soccer team wrapped up their season with a tough 3-2 loss to the host Odessa Bulldogs in the semifinals of the District Tournament.  Great season Grems!

 

HS Cross Country  Freshman Jared Owens competes in the state cross country meet this Saturday in Jefferson City.
