Congratulations to our Class 1 District 5 Champions, our very own Lady Gremlins! The Gremlins took on the New Haven Shamrocks Saturday night in a packed gym! They kept us on the edge of our seats! Playing at home in the McGremlin Gym on Saturday evening was definitely an advantage for the Gremlins.  A packed Gremlin crowd and a rowdy bench kept the momentum going for Sacred Heart as they won in four sets.  25-13, 20-25, 25-22, and 30-28.  “I think nerves and inconsistent passes made us our worst enemies in the second and fourth sets. New Haven played smart, kept the ball in play, and kept us on our toes tonight.” said Coach Marlo Siron  “This group of girls are so fun to coach because they work well together.  They are very competitive and are good at making big plays happen in the craziest moments.  I’m so proud of them!”

Sacred Heart Varsity will have to wait until Tuesday night to see who they will play on Thursday, October 27th at 6:30 pm.  They will play Lesterville. The Gremlins will be on the road Thursday and it looks like it will be a fun road trip!
