Good Afternoon Everyone and Happy Elementary Grandparents Day!
First quarter comes to a close this Friday. Please encourage your child/children to finish strong! You can reference the BEAT below for more information concerning report cards being sent home, and parent/teacher conferences.
Homecoming was wonderful last week. The Student Council provided the student body with many enjoyable events and activities. The soccer team pulled out a win by scoring with 12 seconds left in the game to prevail 1-0. And, last but certainly not least, we are very proud of our Homecoming Queen and her court. Let me tell you a little bit about them.
Representing the freshman class was Miss Cassidy Bentch. Cassidy is the daughter of Jill and Mark Bentch. She was escorted by her classmate Thomas Jenkins. Thomas is the son of Suzann and Bryan Jenkins. The sophomore class candidate was Miss Charlotte Carroll. Charlotte is the daughter of Amanda Moon and Robert Fredrich. Charlotte’s escort was Diego De Leon. Diego is the son of Aracely and Osmaro De Leon.
The junior class candidate was Miss Megan Aonzo. Megan is the daughter of Mariela Messina. Escorting Megan was her classmate Andreas Vanegas. Andreas is the son of Sonia Hernandez and Nestor Montenegro. And finally, representing the Senior class, Miss Laura Granados. Laura is the daughter of Rosalba Carranza and Enrique Granados-Ramirez. Laura’s escort was fellow senior Jordan Hill. Jordan is the son of Kara and Nathan Hill.
Presenting the crown and flowers were Miss Carleigh Bentch, a proud member of the SHS Class of 2035 and Mister Greyson Bain. Greyson was representing the Class of 2033!
The winner of the Fall Homecoming queen contest is based on the class’s performance in Kickball, Win-Win Cards and the mini float contest. The results were…

And in first place, winning Fall Homecoming is the Senior class and the 2022 Fall Homecoming Queen Miss Laura Granados. Congratulations go out to Laura and the seniors!
District tournaments are on tap now for our athletes. Sacred Heart is hosting the Volleyball district tournament this weekend. Please watch for updates and come out to support the girls if you can. They are having a wonderful season!

RaiseRight Bonus Fest Is Still Here
It’s time to gear up for the holidays and the RaiseRight Bonus Fest is here to help! Today begins the third weekend of Bonus Sales. There will be one more weekend of sales through October 30th. Sales run from 12am ET on Friday through 11:59 ET on Sunday and feature different groups of brands each weekend. These bonus rebate sales are only available through the RaiseRight app and will apply to all card types (electronic, physical, and reloadable gift cards). If you haven’t already set up your online account, it’s not too late! Look for the RaiseRight app user guide on the school website for instructions on setting up your account and using the app. These Bonus Rebate Sales are a great way to maximize the rebates you earn and save even more on tuition!!
Our next in house bulk order for physical gift cards is Monday, October 24th. All orders submitted to the school office by the end of school, or through the RaiseRight app by 8pm, on the 24th will be included in the order. Orders should be ready for pick-up the following week. Our schedule for bulk orders through Chrismtas is Monday, November 7th & 21st, Monday, December 5th, and Wednesday, December 14th. In the next few weeks we will be implementing some small procedural changes to the RaiseRight program. Keep an eye out for additional information in the Beat as we finalize the details.
Don’t forget we have several retailers ONLY available through the office (i.e. Casey’s, Cenex, Shell, Colton’s, Kehde’s, McD, Menards, Taco Bell, Walgreens, and VISA to name a few). Student Council manages the Gremlin Student Store and Cafe.

Win/Win Cards – DEADLINE for Classroom & Individual
APC would like to extend the deadline of turning WinWin cards in for classroom and individual incentives to 10/25. The deadline for HS Class Spirit Stick has passed.
JH Mixer
The SHS JH Class officers are hosting a Jr. High Halloween Mixer on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. It is for all students in grades 6-8th. There will be food, games, music, and more! It’s in the Hoying gym. The cost is $10. Students interested in attending must sign up during lunch periods on October 14th, 20th, 21st, 24th, and 25th. If your student signed up to attend, the amount will be charged to FACTS, so your child doesn’t have to bring money to school. School-appropriate casual or dressy attire is required. That means no ripped jeans, short shorts, or leggings. Only Sacred Heart kids can come. Teachers will be there to chaperone. This is a phone free event, phones will be checked in at the front table. Hope to see a great turnout for our first mixer!
Trunk or Treat with APC!

¡Buenas tardes a todos y feliz día de los abuelos de primaria!
El primer trimestre llega a su fin el próximo viernes. ¡Por favor anime a su hijo(s) a terminar fuerte! Puede consultar el BEAT a continuación para obtener más información sobre las boletas de calificaciones que se envían a casa y las conferencias de padres y maestros.
El homecoming fue maravilloso la semana pasada. El Consejo Estudiantil proporcionó al alumnado muchos eventos y actividades agradables. El equipo de fútbol logró una victoria al anotar con 12 segundos restantes en el juego para prevalecer 1-0. Y, por último, pero no menos importante, estamos muy orgullosos de nuestra Reina de Homecoming y su corte. Dejen contarles un poco sobre ellos.

A APC le gustaría extender la fecha límite para entregar las tarjetas Win/Win para los incentivos individuales y de clases hasta el 25 de octubre. La fecha límite para HS Class Spirit Stick ha pasado.
Evento social JH
Los oficiales de la clase JH de SHS organizarán un evento mixto de Halloween de Jr. High el martes 25 de octubre de 2022, de 6:00 pm a 8:00 pm. Es para todos los estudiantes en los grados 6-8. ¡Habrá comida, juegos, música y más! Está en el gimnasio Hoying. El costo es de $10. Los estudiantes interesados en asistir deben inscribirse durante los períodos de almuerzo los días 14, 20, 21, 24 y 25 de octubre. Si su estudiante se inscribió para asistir, la cantidad se cargará a FACTS, para que su hijo no tenga que traer dinero a la escuela.
