- Any JH or HS student requesting a schedule change, please email Mrs. Tippie OR sign up with her for a schedule change. ALL schedule changes need to be made by 3:05pm Monday, August 29th.
- Attention: All 9-12 students need to check the birthday calendar, which is hanging outside of Ms. McMullin’s room. Make sure your birthday is on the schedule, then check it off if it is correct. For all new students, you receive a free dress down day on your birthday, courtesy of the student council. Please remember, if you have a summer birthday, your dress down day will occur near your half birthday. Also know that some of you won’t get to celebrate your actual birthday because of already scheduled Paid Dress Down days, Spirit Dress down days, days off of school or special event days.
- Attention New Students: If you are new to Sacred Heart, have played a band instrument in the past, and would like to join the band, please see Mrs. Yonce! Band begins on today!
- If you see Mr. Eufinger with the maintenance team today, make sure to tell him thank you for all his hard work. We want to wish him well on his new endeavors.
- The Online Store for Gremlin Gear and Spirit Wear will close today. All orders are due today! This sale is only offered 3 times a year. This is the only opportunity to buy spirit wear for our fall sports! STUCO thanks you for your support!
- Getting to school before 7:40am? Students that arrive between 7:30-7:40am get some extra time to be with friends.

- Homeroom teachers please take a moment to review and ensure that the Appearance Code is being followed properly.
Sports Action:
Volleyball (5-1, 0-0) The Varsity and JV girls opened the season Friday evening against Fr. Tolton High school from Columbia. SH JV lost in two sets 11-25, 7-25. The varsity beat Fr. Tolton in three sets 25-22, 25-22, 25-21.
The Sacred Heart Varsity then headed to a Quad Tournament at Fr. Tolton on Saturday. In round-robin play, Sacred Heart beat Tipton 25-20. 27-26, beat Hallsville 25-23, 25-20, and faced Fr. Tolton, again, beating them 27-25, 25-20. In tournament play the girls faced Tipton for the opportunity to play in the final, defeating them 25-7, 25-20. Sacred Heart played Fr. Tolton for the third time in two days in the finals and lost in three sets 24-26, 25-23, 19-25.
Sacred Heart’s next match is tonight in Marshall.
Soccer (1-1, 0-0)
The Varsity soccer team played in the Smith-Cotton Classic this weekend here in Sedalia. On Friday evening the Gremlins opened the shoot-out versus a speedy and aggressive team from Osage. Coming away with a 5-0 loss.
On Saturday morning the Gremlins bounced back against the Clinton Cardinals winning the game 3-1. The Grems travel to the Barstow Tournament this week. They play first round action tomorrow night at 5:45 vs the Pembroke Hill JV.
Cross Country
The high school girls and boys cross country teams travel to Warrensburg for their season opening meet tomorrow morning. Nop results were roported.

The Gremlin JH Soccer team will open their season on Friday and Saturday, September 9 & 10 in the Sacred Heart Tournament

The JH Girls team will open their season on Thursday, Sept. 8 @ home vs the Tipton Cardinals. First serve is at 5:30 in the Hoying Gym
