Announcements:

  • ALL Students:  Please remember to check in for attendance with YOUR homeroom teacher prior to attending any activity that takes place during homeroom.  Thank you!
  • All NHS members please see Mr. Register in room 202 for a service hour opportunity.  
  • The Gremlin Student Store and Cafe will be open before school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:30-7:45am as well as after school daily. We will have Papa Jakes donut holes on Wednesday morning. Come say hi to Abby and Mariana. 
  • All HS artists that do not currently have Mrs. Nehring for art please stop by the art room before or after school by FRIDAY if you are interested in participating in the high school art competition Oct 6. The more the merrier.  Thank you
  • The 2021 yearbook dedication ceremony is Wednesday, September 22 for Mrs. Marcia Turner during homeroom for all students in grades 6-12. Students should report to their homeroom teacher, then the McGremlin Gym. Emily McDonald, Noe Ramos, and Natalie Walker will be the presenters. 
  • All students in grades 7-12. If you need service hours we would love your help! We need volunteers to help the volleyball team with face painting at the Fall Homecoming soccer game on Friday night. Please let Mrs. Howell, know if you can help out!
  • Yearbooks are now on sale! Students in grades 7-12 get yours ordered by September 24 to get the best deal of the year! We also have copies from the last five years for sale. See Mrs. Howell for more information.
  • Friday, September 24 is mid-quarter. Be sure to get all of your assignments turned in by Friday!
  • Fall Homecoming is this week! 
    • Thursday, September 23 at 3:15pm in the McGremlin Gym will be the rehearsal for homecoming coronation. All candidates, escorts, and cheer/dance team members should be ready to practice. Please wait quietly while elementary finishes their dismissals.
    • Thursday, September 23 everyone is invited to attend the volleyball game and dress in their beach party clothes. Free leis will be given out at the door. The best dressed Sacred Heart student will be awarded a $10 gift card to the Gremlin Student Store and Cafe. The Gremlin Student Store will also be open if you need to get some spirit wear. 
    • Friday, September 24 will be a spirit dress day for grades K-8 and a red/white day for high school students. Remember no face paint until after Mass. The pep rally will begin at 2pm for all grades. Everyone is invited to come to the soccer game at Suzi Ditzfeld. Coronation will be at halftime of the high school game. We will also have food trucks, face painting, and a pop-up Gremlin Student Store this year!

Recent Sports Results:

SOCCER:  (6-4-1, 0-0) The varsity soccer team beat Green Ridge by a score of 8-0 last night at Clover Dell Soccer Park.  Their next action is Friday evening @ home vs the Stover Bulldogs.  JH Starts at 5pm followed by varsity action

 

VOLLEYBALL:  (5-0, 2-0) (JV 8-6-2, 1-0) The Varsity beat Green Ridge last night 25-19, 25-20, 25-10.  The JV was victorious 25-16, 25-10.  Both teams meet up with the Stover Bulldogs in a Homecoming matchup on Thursday evening, September 23rd in the McGremlin gym beginning at 5:30 pm.  This will be a great game and should bring a huge crowd.

FOOTBALL:  (2-2) The boys play again this Friday night vs the Orrick Bearcats in Orrick.  Kickoff is at 7pm.

 

GIRLS GOLF: Senior Claire Smeltzer shot a 103 in the California Invitational Tournament yesterday in California.  The girls next play Thursday in the Marshall Tournament.

 

CROSS COUNTRY: Cross Country’s next meet is on Saturday, October 2 at Calvary Lutheran School in Jefferson City.  

 

JH SOCCER: (3-3, 0-0)  The JH Soccer team plays next on Friday night as part of the Homecoming festivities.  We will play the Stover Bulldogs with kickoff at 5pm.

 

JH VOLLEYBALL: (1-4-1, 1-2) The JH Volleyball team lost to Green Ridge by a score of 25-11, 25-21 last night in the Hoying Gym.  Their next action is Thursday at home vs Stover.  Game time is 5:30pm.

 

JH FOOTBALL: (0-1) The JH Football team’s next game is tonight vs Orrick.  The game begins at 5:30pm in Hughesville.

  • HOMECOMING LOCATION- SUZIE DITZFELD FIELD @ Skyline Elementary School in Sedalia JH plays at 5:00 followed by Varsity- Homecoming Coronation will be at half time of the Varsity Game.
