- Today is Picture Day. Students will be called to the commons via the intercom when they are ready for your class. SMILE!
- All NHS members please see Mr. Register in room 202 for a service hour opportunity.
- The Gremlin Student Store and Cafe will be open before school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:30-7:45am as well as after school daily. We will have Papa Jakes donut holes on Wednesday morning. Come say hi to Abby and Mariana.
- Junior class meeting Today during homeroom. Please check in the homeroom for attendance and then proceed to Mrs. McDonalds room for the meeting.
- Monday, September 20 all STUCO members will be reading to elementary students during homeroom. STUCO members please let your homeroom teacher know you are participating in this event.
- Tuesday, September 21 all STUCO members will be meeting in Mrs. Howell’s room during homeroom. STUCO members please check-in with your homeroom teacher first.
- The 2021 yearbook dedication ceremony is Wednesday, September 22 for Mrs. Marcia Turner during homeroom for all students in grades 6-12. Students should report to their homeroom teacher, then the McGremlin Gym. Emily McDonald, Noe Ramos, and Natalie Walker will be the presenters.
- Yearbooks are now on sale! Students in grades 7-12 get yours ordered by September 24 to get the best deal of the year! We also have copies from the last five years for sale. See Mrs. Howell for more information.
- Friday, September 24 is mid-quarter. Be sure to get all of your assignments turned in by Friday!
- Fall Homecoming is this week!
- Thursday, September 23 at 3:15pm in the McGremlin Gym will be the rehearsal for homecoming coronation. All candidates, escorts, and cheer/dance team members should be ready to practice. Please wait quietly while elementary finishes their dismissals.
- Thursday, September 23 everyone is invited to attend the volleyball game and dress in their beach party clothes. Free leis will be given out at the door. The best dressed Sacred Heart student will be awarded a $10 gift card to the Gremlin Student Store and Cafe. The Gremlin Student Store will also be open if you need to get some spirit wear.
- Friday, September 24 will be a spirit dress day for grades K-8 and a red/white day for high school students. Remember no face paint until after Mass. The pep rally will begin at 2pm for all grades. Everyone is invited to come to the soccer game at Suzi Ditzfeld. Coronation will be at halftime of the high school game. We will also have food trucks, face painting, and a pop-up Gremlin Student Store this year!
Recent Sports Results:
SOCCER: (5-4-1, 0-0) On Thursday night the boys lost to St. Paul’s by a score of 3-1. On Friday they traveled to Christian Fellowship and recorded a 10-2 victory. The varsity soccer team’s next action is Tuesday afternoon @ home vs Green Ridge in the Kaysinger Conference opener. Kickoff is at 5pm.
VOLLEYBALL: (5-0, 2-0) (JV 8-6-2, 1-0) The Varsity beat Lincoln in three sets on Thursday evening 25-15, 25-22, 25-5. They competed in the Camdenton Tournament over the weekend… The JV Grems beat the Lincoln Cardinals in two out of three thrilling sets 26-24, 17-25 and 19-17. The girls next action is Tuesday at home vs Green Ridge.
FOOTBALL: (2-2) The boys beat a previously unbeaten Knox County team on Friday night by a score of 40-22. They play at Orrick this Friday night with kickoff is at 7pm.
GIRLS GOLF: The Lady Grem’s play in the California Tournament tomorrow in California MO.
CROSS COUNTRY: Cross Country competed on Saturday, September 18 in Clinton.
JH SOCCER: (3-2, 0-0) The JH Soccer team played on the road Friday vs. Christian Fellowship School. Kickoff is at 5pm.
JH VOLLEYBALL: (1-1, 1-1) The JH Volleyball team lost in Lincoln on Thursday 25-9, 25-17. They played in the SH Tournament over the weekend. Their next action is Tuesday at home vs Green Ridge. Game time is 5pm.
JH FOOTBALL: (0-1) The JH Football team’s next game is on Wednesday, September 22nd vs Orrick. The game begins at 5:30pm in Hughesville.
